I'll plan something for Wednesday or Thursday of next week - I suspect that's about when those two will come up for air for a minute.

In the meantime, the day reminds me of my favorite firecracker.

I love fireworks. I love everything about them, including the wonderful names.

Several years ago we found a long string of nice big bangy firecrackers named "Successive Happy News!" When we set it off we all yelled "Successive happy news!" over and over until the whole string had gone off. It has now become a household tradition, both on the 4th and whenever you want to wish someone well on New Year's Day or a birthday or whatever.

Please don't let any fireworks off near my house I have to sedate my dogs on Guy Fawks night and several nights leading up to and after ... it's a learnt thing from the old dog I used to have someone set a banger off behind him as a pup and he passed it on to the rest except the old bitch who had more sense that many people I know . My word did she fight tho if she got a chance .. used to go for their naughty bits.

I am in a quandary about a poem it's a rather sensitive subject and some may say it's bad taste and who could blame them as I came down hard on someone myself who approached the subject, although she did call it a parody which was what got up my nose. Sooooo I was wondering if one of you kind souls would read it and confirm or otherwise that yes I should keep it to myself rather than have this community come down on me like a ton of bricks

Oy - been having to actually do my job a lot lately. Not that that's a bad thing except it seriously curtails my time to fuck around on line...

More snow, more wet, more cold. Even people who LIKE winter are just about done with this season.

This is citrine. It's one of my favorite stones especially this time of year. It's got a cheerful and sunny energy that just cheers you up when it's been grey for days and days and days....

Lotsa people feeling down or low energy or a little depressive as this winter slouches to a close, I notice. Citrine helps. And the warm affection of those who adore you, and maybe a little chocolate to boost your dopamines.

I feel like a plant that needs sunlight and fresh air. I've been fine with the murky weather for a while now, but I've got enough BS going on right this moment that I need some sunshine. I need my bike between my knees, trail beneath my wheels, branches stinging my skin as I fly past, sun on my back, and wind in my face.
