Any strained or sprained muscle is a pain in the ass, I've had a few, lol. But I haven't felt baby lync kick in the back area, always in the front from what I can tell. But how you can bruise one rib without knowing about it is beyond me, lol.

It is quite common actually to get bruised from the inside by a baby. A girlfriend of mine actually had one fractured, not really by the baby but from the stress of the pregnancy. She is very short waisted and with all the baby spreading from top to bottom it expanded her rib cage at the bottom and caused a fracture. That may be something a bit freaky, but it did happen!

Do you find little lync laying to one side more than the other? I would think its more displacement than anything.
Be sure to mention it to the dr next time you are in.

No, baby doesn't seem to lay to one side, actually seems to pretty much like the middle unless momma is on one side.

It is quite possibly bruising, I was thinking of calling and leaving a message for the midwife to let her know that it's not a kidney stone. I personally have a long torso for my size and short legs, which could be why it's the rib closest to my hip since baby doesn't seem to be going under my ribs in the front.

Yeah, I do the *duh!* for Annie too. Basically I am on a different time stream than anyone else....Ahh...moooove...sssllooooow.
