It's 150 calories. You should be able to burn that off in about two hours just sitting there, in about one hour walking. Even if your metabolism was only 1/2 as fast as the average person, you'd burn it off in 4 hours just sitting there. And it's BROCCOLI. I don' t think there's any healthier food out there. The cheese doesn't make much of a difference.

last time they checked my metabolism, it was less than 1/4 what it should be...burning 500 calories a day...

The only fat comes from the butter, and I use low fat butter.

Skim Milk and fat free cheese.

You wouldn't be able to make it right anyway.

*only* 12 g...LOL thats a ton of fat...nice edit btw...and 12 g is a lot...and like 8 g of that fat is sat....you're only supposed to have 30 g of fat per day.

and that doesn't even take into account the 31 mg of cholesterol...in one tablespoon of food...

Well, I realized that the butter I use has 5 grams of fat, because it's low fat butter. Plus, you don't eat it every day. The butter I bake with is the full fat butter, because I bake for everyone else.

I'd rather eat something with more fat than premade food like that....I know how to actually cook...why waste money on that garbage?

Not to mention, if you don't eat the whole pot of cheese sauce, your not eating 12 grams of fat.

it was only like $2...

fat free cheese would cost a hell of a lot more and is "pre made garbage" idiot.

No it's not the same kind of pre-made garbage that you're eating Dolly. I make everything from scratch, not from a box. Although, I do use a mix for my Hot and Sour soup.

I only use fat free cheese because of the high fat content of regular cheese and it doesn't make me sick like regular sharp cheddar. Oh how I love sharp cheddar, it does not love me back.

I wasn't insulting you.

do you have a bad gall bladder or something?

Lots of sodium. And you're hungry because you ate more carbs than protein.

You should have just steamed the broccoli with a little bit of real butter and salt and pepper, and added something else like a small salad with fat free dressing or oil and vinegar.

And you don't always need to make a roux to make a cheese sauce. slow melt with a little bit of milk and gently stir and pour over the veggies. No flour...no added unnecessary carbs.

Without the roux it's not thick, and it tastes horrific.

Oil and Vinegar is so delicious.

No. Lactose Intolerance at sporadic intervals.

I make my macaroni and cheese with skim milk and fat free cheese too...it's sad.

I have food intolerance...LOL anything I eat, makes me nauseous, gives me indigestion and acid reflux...cramping in my lower stomach, specially if it has a lot of fiber...
