After much ado, a few phone calls, loss of paperwork by the DOH (it's a governmetn agency, what do you expect?), more phone calls, extra copies being mailed, a move and change of address, mail forwarding, more phone calls, loss of more paperwork, remailing of THAT stuff, and - you guessed it - more phone calls...

the license number finally came through.

Ugh.

vela - Yes, I finally got the massage therapy license. And the certification to work on sports teams, injuries, in chiropractic offices, etc.
Yes, there is a job waiting! I interviewed at a spa just a couple of miles from the house here almost a month ago, and they've been patiently waiting for the license number to come through to start booking appointments. I'm also doing a mobile massage thing - me, the table, and a car - in the area. If people book through the spa I'll be makig $35 an hour, $55 an hour for the mobile thing. (Spa charges $70 for an hour massage on a 50/50 split so the mobile is actually cheaper.)

Sure is. Nice and toasty here. Not sunny right now, and a storm system heading in over the next few days, but it's been between 70 - 75 F during the day.
