It's downright wicked out there tonight. It's been a long time since I remember the winds howling like this. And it's sooooo cold!

I have almost 9 inches here. School is closed and the kids and I are having a jammie day!

Work be damned (until I have to play catch up on Monday!)

We got close to a foot :D It didn't look that deep until I tried to get to the garage :eek:

Another snow day this week. I think we are making up for last winter.

Unfortunately, I had to go out in this one. It was their dad's turn to stay home with them. It took me 2.5 hours to get to work. We all left early and it took me another 2.5 hours to get home. It was hardly worth leaving the house for!

Is it spring yet?

We didn't get any this week ... we were kind enough to let you have it all ;)

I just found this thread. I've been looking for more people from Illinois.

I agree with everyone that it has been way too cold. Thosecold winds just blow right through me. Summer seems to far away to contemplate.

I WANT TO BE WARM AGAIN!!!!!!!

I been away from Illinois for the last six months................is it safe to come back yet? :) I understand y'all had a wee bit of winter wx up here.
