Okay, I am a newbie -- there is search function for the stories? I know there's one here in the forums, but where would i find it in the story section?

I'm sure this is going to be embarassing...

click on "stories & pics" on the home page, which brings up the story contents page. About three-quarters of the way down is a section for site search--by members and stories. The function is a little clunky and mislabeled, so you'll have to play with it a while to figure it out.
