Just 'cause I'm really proud of myself, here's a pic of a blanket and bootees I crocheted for my nephew. Those are my first pieces ever.

All I've ever managed to crochet was a potholder. It was supposed to be a square, but the result was more like a roundish triangle than anything. I don't know how that happened...no one can screw up a square potholder! Then again, I just screwed up pancakes yesterday... I don't know how that happened either.

Thanks all for the nice compliments. I'm really proud of my work, but I was even more pleased by my sister's reaction when she saw what I had done for her son.
