It is so sad when people find themselves in a position where they can no longer take part in something that is meant to be fun.

The saddest part is that there are sick people out there who use what happens here in "fantasy land" to disrupt, slander and intimidate people in their real lives.

It makes one wonder why you would bother to be part of an online community when there are people that misuse it so vindictively.

This is not the first time someone has targetted members of the Aussies thread community and I am guessing it won't be the last - but at the rate people are pulling away from the thread, there will be no one left to harrass!

It has me baffled as to why it happens tho hon....hope you're doing well babe

My Dad had 4. He's almost died so many times now I've lost count...(kinda like my cat!!) Fortunately, once it's spotted, doctors are able to do a lot to fix it & prevent more. I hope she's okay - and I hope you are too.

Ouch! Yeah, I've heard many horror stories. One was my dad's - he ended up having to pay for a holiday he never took because the company took his money - then collapsed!

Back to work tomorrow - fortunately it's a short week!

I know that kind of crap, years ago my ex and I sold our Harley Davidson on a Thursday (someone he knew and had worked with/for owned the shop) for $13,500, they went bust on the Friday, and the cheque was cashed for the bike on the Monday...bike gone, money gone.

We were selling to cover debts from our family business that we had been ripped off in...lost our house, shares, the bike, plus a kwaka 1300 that he loved as well. So losing the Harley was like a double blow....esp as I bought him the harley as a gift from my late sisters superannuation...

I hope all is well with everyone. I'm feeling fantastic (although a little tired). A big week ahead of me - starting with the gyno and physio tomorrow morning. Ahhh...the joys of being female

My news, which I haven't told anyone yet, is that my boyfriend has put my photo in a frame on his bedside table. Nobody has ever done that before. Aaahhh romance...finally happening to me.

I have some not so good news.....Gil is in the hospital again. His fistula clotted again this afternoon. Don't know why, the warfarin was supposed to keep this from happening

They are giving him plasma IV to thicken his blood so they can hopefully unclog it tomorrow morning - then I guess they will fill him full of heparin to thin it down again

Everything was fine yesterday when he dialysed....we are both baffled and upset that this has happened again only 3 months after the last episode
