Well, the quilts were a huge hit, everyone was floored and loved them.

There were a couple of you that asked to see this, so here are pics.

I also made a cloak for Ma'am for her birthday. It's high quality velvet on one side in a deep deep burgundy, and jaquered satin on the inside (black).

Needed help from Mom sewing this though, was a bit outside my skill what with the types of fabric, but it turned out gorgeous.

Awesome!

I admire your talents so much. I've always wanted a cloak but never wanted to spend the money.

Lord knows I have no sewing talent at all. My few efforts have been nothing short of disastrous.

This looks beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

It was a lot harder than I anticipated, mostly because the fabrics were so slippery and it was really difficult to sew them. Plus, working with so much fabric was hard, and the pattern was a bit...unhelpful. We got it done though, but kind of dampened my desire to make one for myself for awhile! lol

Miss Seri you're a talented little chipmunk on several fronts, thank you for sharing that. Hmmmn eyes wide shut come to mind :rose:
