I used to be a household word around here, like Clorox or Spam but then I went astray for many years, coming back only to have a drink at Ricks and plug my new erotic art gallery. Alas, I fought the powers that be who deleted my images almost as fast as I put them up and finally gave up.
Then last night I discovered the Visual Arts Corner!!
Another chance for me and my Twilight Gallery.

I have some credentials here, having taught art on the college level for 30 years and achieving somewhat of a reputation as a professional artist. Almost all my work is figurative, most of it nude, some of it naughty. I'll show that here.
Some of my work is traditional, some involves extensive use of computer software.
Some has elements of both.
Here's a link to a website that hosts a lot of my work.

So without further ado, I see the buffet tables are set up, the champagne fountain
is erupting and my sexy assistants in small black dresses are mingling.

Let the party begin!
You are all invited to the opening of the Twilight Gallery.....Enjoy!

Masked Nude #4, 1985

This is a 21 year old drawing using compressed charcoal on textured board, she stands about 36 inches in height.
No digital wizardry here, straight hand/eye work.
this was part of a long series called 'Moody Nudes'

This is a heavily altered and manipulated image that has gone through many different 'states' and conditions. Micrografx, Adobe and a Xrox copier were used
to produce this one.
It's small, about 6"x8".

#63 Another Lovely Set of Twins Manipulated Image 2004

This is one that was in the previous incarnations of Twilight Gallery. I'm putting it up this time to see if it survives. A photographic image was chosen, cropped and subjected to the tender mercies of image manipulation software.
I had one goal...make them really pretty.

The image is about 8x12

Stretched Nude #8 charcoal, 1979

I did a series of distorted nudes in the late 70s. they were inspired by slowly moving images on a xerox plate while being scanned. I then chose the ones I likes and from them made large charcoal drawings. This one is about 18 x 24.

Thanks Throb, I'll be posting some of those as well

Masked Nude is incredible. its a great example of the power of black and white.

Hi Ariosto,

I visited your gallery, absolutely tremendous. impressive use of media and techniques. I love your intrepretation of the play of light and shadow over a nude figure.

and, of course, the humor.

You visited my gallery at EBSQ?

or here

the original TG, had had almost all of the images removed, most of them were
photomanipulated things.
My original work is at www.ebsqart.com

I am glad to see a visual arts thread at Lit...finally.
i asked them 6 years ago for one.

Do you have anything else online I could look at?

I visited you gallery at EBSQ... SOMEHOW I got to see your work, but clicking the link above didn't get me to your page again. I don't know HOW I did it before. Darn , now I wish I had saved the link.

I am fairly new here but definitely glad to be here when there IS a visual art thread.

I do have some things online at deviantart.
http://aquiliasevera.deviantart.com/
Those are mostly relating to illustrations for fan fiction (yes, Harry Potter) and some manga/anime based work. a bit silly but fun.

Note: aha I found the link way up at the top of this thread...and saved it. ;-)

Thank you Sie, I've missed you as well..any new pix for me to work from?

Spain
I envy you, you minx.
On a good day I get to go to Alabama!

Well, save some pix, I think the last one I did of you was one from Ibeza.

My God...time flies. I've known you since you were 18 I think
am I right?
