When you post pictures, do you get a deluge of PMs from the Romeos around here? Just curious why the thread starters freak out and pull the pics so much.

How about on a normal basis? Do guys PM you a lot? Just curious.

the longer your on you still get around same per day or within minutes of posting some pics. after a while you learn to appreciate the guys who are just willing to chat with you as a person.

you can strike up a few good friendships on lit too. and if lucky enough find a true kindred spirit or more. i find it best to be honest with the folks...if your not interested tell them so.

and if you like to cyber just chose those you do it with carefully

i get a lot of PM's when i first post a thread, but it dies down after a while. i would say i get like 4-5 PM's from people i don't know every day. and like 40-50 on days i post a thread, which is hard to keep up with especially since i feel bad if i don't reply.

I know that there are sometimes when I get more pms, but I usually get maybe 5 a week and they are seldome from strangers, but I have been on for a little bit, not as long as some of the other lovely ladies out here though. So I do think that the beautiful women here that get more pms are the lookers to be watching for and getting PMs

I would get one or two a week before I posted up my faace picture for my av. Then I started getting about one or two a day.

After I started my pic thread, I get about 5-10 a day.

I don't mind getting PMs. What I -DO- mind are the rude ones like "post more nude pics" and guys who think that I need a boyfriend and they're PERFECT for me. *laughs* Because who knows? I could be an axe wielding psychopath IRL but because I'm pretty suddenly they want a date. Whateva.

I do like the PMs that are sweet. "I really enjoyed your pic thread. Keep up the good work" Etc. Or ones that just say howdy.

I guess you would have to be. The encouraging comments all look like generic cut and pastes. Well, the first several anyhow, then regulars seem to develope and things relax a bit.

I think a lot of times the simpler PMs are just a fly by thank you. I don't really think the OP of the thread OR the person sending the PM really expects an answer to those.

More detailed PMs and thread posts generally get -my- time just because it's kind of assumed that it deserves it. (IMHO)

I think it depends on the thread too. I'm trying to keep my pic thread super classy, casual and funny and not have any hard-core porno stuff going on. Basic TnA, really, of the softest variety. The kind of stuff you'd see on "The Red Shoe Diaries" yannow?

I think girls who post more elabroate or dirtier pictures would get a lot more PMs. And probably a lot more basic ones, too, just on the sake of bowing to the laws of ratios.

In my humble opinion, if you can ride out the first few days of cyber requests when you first start your thread, it dies down. Personally, I've been here a couple of years and I've always received really nice PM's.

I do agree with Satindesire in that it really does depend on what type of pics or thread you have, as to what type of PM's you get.
