Our leather cuffs have a lambswool-like lining and are very comfortable. We got them at a kinky yard sale for $10, but similar ones are available online. For example, THESE seem like a pretty good deal at $30.

I guess it depends on what you're going to be using them for now and in the future, and if you know you enjoy bondage or not. If you like bondage and are likely to play a little rougher at some point, I'd say you should go for cuffs that are both comfortable and likely to last a lifetime. That means a little more expense now, but it's likely to save you money over the years.

my ankle cuffs are faux fir lined and are very comfortable for wearing for long time periods. I just bought new wrist cuffs to match my collar and so I know they were comfortable there to test, but havent worn them for a long time. But I'm not sure I heard of a brand called "Comfy cuffs"

i wouldnt use pantyhose. if you tie a know in them then pull, the knot will get very tight ad you wont be able to untie it

Might I suggest... rope? Comfiest cuffs I know of are made from a few twists of MFP/cotton/pure nylon rope. Not tough to learn how to make them, and they're cheaper than any cuffs will ever be.

They are Torvea Toys' Love Cuffs. 10 in., reinforced leather, with a suede on the inside, velcro and locking buckle.

Basically the guy explained that he designed them because his girl likes to fight restraints and he had a hard time keeping the cuff secure around her wrist because she was pulling so much. So he added velcro to the bottom so the base of the cuff can be secured and holds leaving both hands free to secure the buckle...

i had a set made to my measurements when I was pregnant 6 years ago. I asked that it be adjustable down to a 16inch neck or so, not sure how small he made it, and large enough to "collar Arnold." *laugh* It locks too. Came with a set of ankle and wrist cuffs too.

The person who made it makes wonderful gear, but only for those he loves.

tried it on today. I now need to get a new one. I've shrunk far too much to wear it. It was loose even on its tightest setting.

If you can, see if you can get one of those from one of the more reputable sites.

I like the cuffs I got from the Stockroom. They're like this:

They're faux fur and comfortable enough for hours worth or wearing.

I've also enjoyed using the grip cuffs from Danny - leatherbydanny.com - and have on occasion used the regular cuffs he makes. I think any cuff with a softer leather rolled edge will be comfortable for hours worth of time.

I also think the convenience of some of the velcro and webbing type are brilliant, pack down easy, go on quickly and are very nice, but their weakness seems to be lengthy periods of struggling and pulling, where they can crease and start to give hot spots. But they're great for a quick one. Not sure where you get those these days, but yes, check the lit store!
