Would love to see some stories about our men and women who are serving our country.>

Since my husband does not have time to search for stories of interest to him so i have been sending him links.>

I have a few ideas so if anyone is interested send me a message and let me know what category you like to write in?

This is a brilliant idea! It is a way for us on the home front to help out our valiant boys at the front lines. I am going to give it some thought with my own meager talents. Thanks for the suggestion!

his return home from deployment

meets his sweetheart for the first time (i was my soldiers sweetheart- we wrote and chated for over a year before he showed up at my door unexpectedly)

That sounds sooooo sweet; do tell some more. It will make a great romance story.

I've written such a story, called SEX AND PROMISES. I'm a vet too (20 years USAF). Not sure if you'll like, love, or hate it. Would like to find out.

I have a friend that is a bit ... easy. This past summer she met a guy that was being deployed soon, so she simply enjoyed the few days she had with him.

Well, that's all it took for her to develop a solider fetish. She would pick one soldier, at randome, and start talking to him, sending him letters and sending him naked pictures of herself. It always seemed to bring a smile to their faces.

One Marine she was 'motormailing' requested that she write him some graphic and detailed stories (fiction or non fiction). While she was amazingly attractive, but she wasn't all that articulate so I would offer a hand in cheering up our troops.

She used to come over and sit on my floor and lean back against my couch with the laptop on her lap. I would lay on the couch and nuzzle my chin against her shoulder as I would whisper in her ear what to write.

By the end of the night my friend was sitting there, purring and squirming as she typed. By the end of the month, her Marine was the envy of his unit because of the letters she was sending.

I enjoyed my time with her and I enjoyed doing my own little part to show my appreciation to someone serving our country. If you would like to exchange a few ideas, feel free to let me know.

Found the target... Fox 1, Fox 2!

I think I can spin a yarn tonight that is worthy. I know the feeling of returning from a war zone to the loving arms of an expecting family. I'll start tonight, may take longer, and I'll send directly to you.

Send yours a big thank-you for his sacrifice from one who's been there <go Air Force>

My brother was also there in the desert, in the Army during the first one. So on his behalf I chant "Go First Cav!"

Enough of this, time to write. I'll try my best to create a great one!

So You Know I'm Not Blowing Smoke Up Your...

I am excited about this project. I'll send it directly to you when I'm done. Hope this is okay.

LINE UP!
By AsylumSeeker

“Line up!” the sergeant barked.

The squad reacted quickly. The sergeant paced before them.

“Okay girls, this is when you get to go home!” Sergeant Trevor spewed his usual oral venom. “Do you know why we’re shipping your sorry asses back?”

“Yes, sir!” they all chimed in, “to make more Marines, sir!”

“You’re goddamned right!” the short, slender, war-hardened veteran of many wars exclaimed. “How many did we lose? How many fucking Marines from this unit died in the commission of their duties?”

“Two, sir!” a Marine chirped in.

“You’re a goddamned genius, Dilfer!” the abrasive Sergeant exclaimed. “And why the fuck is that? Tell me that! Why only two, when every other unit lost at least twice as many!”

When Sanchez began raising his hand Trevor was infuriated!

“Drop and give me twenty, Marine! You’re still in the shithouse!”

Sergeant Dillon Trevor was a person; a hard nut with a soft center. He took pride in his success at bringing so many of his boys back, but the ones he lost ate at him like a cancer. They had families, children, and their loss tore at the very fabric of his soul.

When Sanchez counted off twenty Dillon reached down and grasped the hair on the top of his head, painfully pulling the man erect.

“You’re here because two men gave their lives…” Trevor started before getting choked up. “You’re going back to your girlfriends, wives, and families. You will not forget McGregor and Mills. They’re why you’re here, on your way home.”

“Semper fi!” Billings proudly cried out.

The sincerity of the exclamation instantly earned Trevor’s respect. The hardened Sergeant turned and winked approvingly.

“You go home soldier, and show your wife how much you’ve missed her.”

“Sergeant, if it wasn’t for you…”

Trevor’s smile disappeared. “Don’t piss me off, you pansy!”

I was in the military during the first gulf war. I have been playing with a couple ideas that were based on that. Some of the ideas are romantic. Some are not There is one I just finished, but it is a bit cliche and torrid, not very romantic at all. I have not submitted it yet, I wanted to submit a couple other stories before going down that route. Most of the ideas I have been brainstorming lately are based off things I saw while in the military. Because I was not a wife, but an active duty woman my perspective was a little different. However I had a lot of wives as friends so have been brainstorming from that. If I write anything and post it I will be sure to message you about it. I saw some wonderful, and horrible relationships while in the Army. It is a lot more intense a life than people realize. What many people think of as fiction you actually see and deal with there. It is crazy. I hope you and your husband the best in these hard times.
