Ropework photos

Simply amazing!!! Truly a site to behold. I still think you need to come down here and give a demo at 1763. Pretty please?

Oh.....

god...DAMN. The word beautiful doesn't even begin to cover that.

I am quite seriously weak in the knees.

*must go fan mah brow*

bijou

Why, thank you, darling bijou :D

You could post some of your work in here too, y'know. I'm sure that at least some of my fair readers will enjoy your subject matter. And some will really enjoy it!

Having been there and seen this in person, the actual photos just make the experience stand out even more.

Great work as always, Babe

Thanks, NC!

AMAZING work. The symmetry is beautiful. You are a rope Master! :)

 While I thank you for the compliment, I am far from a Master of rope arts. Look to someone like Jimi Tatu, Lochai, or the great Japanese Nawashis like Arisue Go and Randa Mai.

Thank you though. *bows*

Wow! I so love the way the lovely ladies smile, it just shows how good a time they had, and man it makes them look so sexy!!

Me thinks I have to arrange a trip to the US at some point, to attend Fetish Fair Fleamarket!! :D

I totally suggest it. We had a blast. Loads of great vendors, classes, Whip Lounge, Bondage Lounge, etc. Just a great time =)

And, yes, the smile really do make them look even that much more beautiful. Of course I had the best view during the ties, but I can't share that memory

I would LOVE to visit 1763. And I would LOVE to tie there. No idea about doing a demo, but I would sure love to apply some rope in those environs. I gather there's a fine rope bunny near that region that might help in that demo, eh?

And thank you for your comments, Gigi :D

Does this mean I need to clean the garage?

It really is a trainwreck, isn't it

As an aside, the person that sent me the inquiry about tying petite breasts just sent me a PM. It seems that the post and tips worked, and she's been tied rather nicely by her PYL. This makes me a happy camper!

Always feel free to post your questions here, but if you've got questions that you don't want your name associated with, PM me with em. I will scrub your name off, post them, and we'll discuss. Or, well, I'll expound on it, as it seems like I'm doing all the talking =P

Wow! Amazing rope work done, Homburg! And what lovely girls being tied up!

Sinn & SF, you both look amazing!! And I am fairly sure from the pictures shown, you both enjoyed Homburg's rope works! :D

Once again, I am extermely jealous!!

:rose:

Ok, I'll bite.

I'm a very, very bad Toppy-type person. Like, my knot-tying is so bad that in spite of me owning horses my entire life, I'm still not allowed to tie them anywhere because they'll invariably get loose and plunder. It's so bad that I'm ashamed to admit it.

Now, since most bottoms wanna be bound, this puts me at a distinct disadvantage. I can usually dodge it by working with cuffs and such most of the time, but I know I should really learn some basic things. I've looked at tutorials and such, but my ADD kicks in, and I lose my place and just get confused. Or else I can't get the damned ropes tight enough, and they just slip and fall off, whereupon I just get grumpy and give up.

So now that I've confessed my sins, I need to do my penance, I guess. :p Got any advice for me for easy, effective ties? (I don't really give a rat's ass what it looks like, honestly, LOL.) Something that won't have me going, "Ok, so I put this end over this one, and--hey, look, a butterfly!"?

ETA: Something easy to remember, too. I can generally fuck around until I can more or less duplicate something while I'm looking at it, but I get lost when it's not right there in front of me. I don't have the mind for this kind of stuff.

As an aside, the flax rope I picked up last weekend smells just like a clean horse barn. Feed, hay, and sun-warmed wood. It took me back to summer afternoons currying horses in my granddad's barn.

Well, the first piece of advice is to just carry yourself and Bikitty out here and I'll show you the ropes. Pun intended.

Cuffs are the best place to start, and there are three that I like: the french/portugese bowline, the Japanese single-column tie, and the catspaw cuff (though I use a MUCH simpler version of this for simple restraint). I personally think the french bowline is probably the simplest.

Frankly, I could probably show you these cuffs in a few minutes and you'd get it. I could show you some amazingly simple knots to use with your horses too.

If you want a book, I'm a big fan of Lee Harrington's "Shibari You Can Use". Lee has an excellent writing style, really functional photos, and excellent ties.

This is SO me.

You could do it too =P

This last set of photos is absolutely my favorite. I love the work you did on her back.

Thank you, pretty lady

It may just be my OCD but the thought of lipstick smeared on the white bed linens makes me want to do laundry:) It is a fabulous color though.

Heh, sinn made a similar comment! She worried about getting her lipstick on the sheets. From what I recall, she did not. Whatever lipstick she uses was serious stuff. She didn't get any on me when she kissed my cheek either.

You are welcome. This is the only 30+ page thread I've read from the beginning and stuck with (except for maybe Shankara's, but I wasn't around for the beginning of that). Thank you for sharing:)

Goodness, you'r eputting me in pretty lofty company there. Thank you!

Thank you for the links. I'll take a look at them. Once I find some money lying around, I'll probably look into the book and into the coming to visit part. :rose:

You're welcome. If you do come out here, you can check out my copy of the book. It's good stuff =)

I take no credit for always wearing the best choice in lipsticks which never fade, smudge, smear or wear off. My Master buys it for me. ;) IYM hates sticky beauty products on me. He would not appreciate being covered in kisses which would leave Him wearing more lipstick than I. ;)

And reds stain!!! And the stains they leave are a challenge for even the best stainsticks and detergents.

IYM doesn't just purchase and choose all of my clothing. The same applies with most of my makeup. He LOVES and insists on red lipstick and nails (health issues have effected my fingernails now for a few months making polishing my fingernails red, not worth the time ... IMO, and I've been excused from doing so, which is why only my toes are pedicured in the photos).

Anyway.... back to red lipstick.
All of the photos of me shown here were taken sometime after 9pm. That lipstick in the photos was applied at home, that morning just before 8am . It was not retouched at all since that morning. Clear gloss was applied twice at most ... greatful that it lasts and lasts.....I had no time for anything more than that. (the gloss is included with the lipcolor purchases).

He often sees products on television that He likes and then runs out and purchases then, comes home, hands them to me and tells me to put them on. He enjoys inspecting at that point. It's been good for laughs to hear Him describe the odd looks people give Him while He spends a great deal of time in the makeup aisle of a local store. Funny how a man can purchase tampons and it is less likely to raise eyebrows (Yes, He's that good. I know some men freak at the idea of buying feminine products for their women. I'm a lucky gal. He has no issue with doing *whatever* it takes in caring for what is His.)

As for the lipstick..... He loves red. I never cared for it. I'd never felt it was the most complimentary color on me. I especially stayed away from reds because those shades stain and make such a mess. I only enjoy wearing makeup that I can apply in a way that leaves me feeling confident that it will stay put. It has to be applied perfectly and stay that way or I'd skip it all together. I look good without it. I look more interesting with it. And, imo .. I'd look like a trainwreck with it all 'unintentionally' ;) ...smudged and smeared. Same with nail polishes.

I've learned to love reds because He loves them on me, and He always is thoughtful, always compliments me when He enjoys was He sees. The red lipstick in these photos doesn't smudge. I actually have to work hard to remove it the next morning. Both brands which I list here promise to stay on for 16 hours but in my experience they can and often do last close to 24hours. Each tube of color cost anywhere between $10-12 and include the clear gloss sealant. This stuff ends up being a better buy because I apply once a day and then I forget about it until the next morning. The shade on my lips in these photos is the result of blending two brands to achieve the color:

Here's how I got that shade:

1. Lightly applied application to fill both top and bottom lips, keeping pretty much well within the natural outline: "SuperStay Color" by Maybelline, color= Raisin (in the 'plums' section) # 765
http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Lip/LipColor/superstay-lipcolor.htm

2. Blot off excess from applicator wand, pucker the lips, dab/pat this shade on the fullest portions of top and bottom lips (in the center, staying away from the edges): "Infallible" by Loreal Paris, color= Crimson #310
http://www.lorealparisusa.com/_us/_en/default.aspx#page=top{userdata//d+d//|main:home|nav|media:_blank|diagnostic:_blank|overlay:productdetail//objectid+Cos21a_17//}

3. Apply a generous application of clear gloss. Each of the above shades come with their own semisolid tube of clear gloss. IYM likes mine to look very very wet. ;)

I did a lot of hugging and kissing at that FFF party.
A fair share of them landed on Homburg, Millificent, and on .....Nala.... too! :D
Here's me with a good friend of IYM and I, "Domin8trax".
No smudges here. ;)

Heh, my gal would certainly love the cooking aspect of it. I'd have to have some service submissive housekeeping slaves on staff. I, wow, this is sounding better and better.

We could call it the "Tied To The Bed and Breakfast" :D

And while all the make-up stuff is greek to me, whatever she says, I support. The lipstick looked great and didn't come off on white sheets. sinn knows her stuff!

Seriously, Hom' . My attention was anywhere but on my makeup. Your ropemagic had me in heaven. Evidence is in the photos and that lipstick was not the only thing that could not be wiped off of my face.

And... Homburg, the makeup tips were intended for the ladies... if they want them !! Not for you. heh :p Then again.. good Valentine gift idea there. ;)

I am honored to have served as a canvas for your rope-works of art. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Words can not describe....
When can you get V up here to do this and MORE .... again?!!??:kiss:
