One of those garden buildings in the grounds of flash castles and such?
It's bigger than a gazebo and enclosed.

There are:
Orangery
Conservatory
Vine-house
Pavilion
Temple of the Winds
Folly
Hunting Lodge
etc

Og

Thanks :rose:
I think pavilion is what I'm after...or is it conservatory?

No, pavilion. It sounds more separate - I tend to get the Clue type thought going with Conservatory too.

I use both in the political threads, so turnabout is fair play.

Actually, this is giving me an idea for a story... Colonel Mustard using his blunt instrument for a petit mort, in the conservatory. Only it was really Mrs. Peacock (formerly known as Hans Body before some estrogen, a boob job and snaring Mr Peacock).

Work in the candlestick and a little knife play and you've got some serious kink!

and the rope for some bondage and or asphixia play... Maybe take it into the hall for some exhibitionism.
And the "innocent" Scarlet being shocked by the show, Professor Plum doing... something... maybe running the video camera?

With a name like Scarlet, you think she can be shocked? She's probably just oggling the size of the Plum the professor is pulling on.

Now what Mr Green and Ms White are doing...

Starkers, I hope you don't mind the threadjack too much, seeing as how you already got your answer :rose:

Mrs White has been around the scene for a long time. She's out there showing everybody else how to do things, since she's had so much experience as a dominatrix. She's got her technique down.

I like the way you think. A dominatrix dressed in white. Or it could go the other way where just her name is white, but she dresses in shiny black, either way making it ironic. That would mean that Mr Green would be a natural for her subbie.

We call ours a pavilion. Larger than a gazebo, not attached to the house (as you would think a conservatory as being), a real, functional building (so not really a folly).

Or you could call it Herbie.

To get back to the original question, what about "atrium"?

I was responding to the original question. It's definitely not an atrium--that's an open-space inside a main structure. That's the opposite of an enclosed space.

I was referring to the chatter about Clue. I think of an atrium as being an unroofed area inside a large building, and it would be enclosed by the walls of the surounding parts of the building. Like a courtyard, but probably smaller and used for shrubbery, flowers, etc.
