What, exactly, Make's it "Hot?"

Hey all, I tried doin a search for this and came up dry, so I'm asking everyone, what exactly makes a submitted story "hot?" Is it views, comments, votes? Is it automatic or done manually by a member of the Lit staff?

Cause I was completely surprised my story is "hot"...especially because there's NO sex in it yet.

So, yeah... That's pretty much all I want to know. Thanks! ^_^

The story is submitted to a panel of freshman boys at Chelsea Clinton High School. If the story survives their scrutiny it goes to a secret fraternity house at an unknown college where its reviewed and voted on.

And I'd prefer if it were freshmen girls and a secret sorority. Women are harder to impress then guys. :p
 
It's much scarier than that- if you have ten or more votes, and those votes average 4.50 or higher-- you're hot. :)

As long as you are polite about asking dumb questions, you can ask as many as you like.

Whether anyone answers? That's another matter.

Once you have lost the "virgin" tag, you can answer newbies' questions too. If your answer is wrong, someone will probably correct it.

Hot does not mean hot. It means 4.50 and 10 votes. It's not hard to achieve.

Don't be picky:devil: Laurel defines it as 'Hot' and 'cos I've got a couple, I'll fight you for the definition.

If it's so easy to achieve, why are we all stuck in our icy garrets, sucking our quills and warming our hands round the guttering flame of the tallow praying for inspiration?

Try posting a Loving Wives where the wife abandons him for the idyll of sapphic embraces with a black biker and see how easy the 4.5 is to obtain.

Ogg that is because we all vote low on your stories to keep your head from swelling anymore than it already is. ;)

Nothing against you of course, we just don't want your head to explode or something. :eek:
 
Sorry guys. You are all wrong. "HOT" is when Part (A) fits correctly in Part (B) and the reader gets a good wank out of it :D

In my opinion a hot story is one that grabs your attention and makes you want to find out what happens to the characters next.

As for your story 'oh baby' cant wait to see what happens next!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
