I started this thread because I know I'm not eligible for any of the categories for 2007. Nominate anyone except Og.

My problem is that they'll only take 1 vote per ..... category? voter? whichever. I've got too many favorites & don't want to pick just 1.

Maybe if I put on a mask, no one will know ......

If the person you would nominate has already been nominated, is there any point to nominating them again? Is once enough to get their name on the ballot? Or is there only so many places on the ballot so the people with the most nominations get those spots?

I think there is a limit to how many are put on the final ballot. Last year the choices were pared down in some categories. I assume it will help to have more than one nominating.

I think the quote is very apposite.

In the past, some nominations seem to have been made by alts. I started this thread so that people know that the nomination process is under way and to try to get some acknowledgement for the extent of work people do on Literotica from raising the quality to encouraging others to improve.

With all its flaws, this is a great place to practise and learn about writing.

I don't know whether the nominations are still valid or not. They are for 2007 and she left in 2008.

If a US electorate can elect a dead candidate, I don't see why Literotica members can't nominate a departed member.

Since Danielle's account has been removed, I would think that would make her nominations null & void. That quote does specifically say the account has to be active and the submissions still be on the site, and hers are not.

I guess it's up to L&M - we'll see whether she'll show up on the final ballot or not. I imagine they'd void the nominations though.
