Tonight at 8:00 PM EST, SweetSubSarahh's beloved University of Kansas Jayhawks will take on Virginia Tech in the Orange Bowl.

The Jayhawks went 11-1 this season, their best record since two days before God invented time. However, they are a three-point underdog to Virginia Tech which finished 11-2 and is always tough.

Assuming SSS shows up tomorrow, her mood should tell us all we need to know about the outcome of the game. Be prepared.

BTW, I'm an college-football-ignorant german, but why is a team that's 11-1 ranked 8th (Kansas) and a team that is 11-2 is ranked 3rd (Virginia)? Did I miss something?

In fact, some people are angry that KU is even in this bowl game because of strength of season schedule.

The Bowl game situation is very confusing and since the last couple of bowl games have been very one-sided events there may even be a serious revamp of everything for next year. Anyway.

As a football illiterate american, I propose this solution to the NCAA BCS footbal bowl arrangements: Let me choose.

I have no team. I have no vested interest. I couldn't give a flying frog fuck who wins what game where. I can be as unbiased and truly unswayed as any on the planet.

Unless of course schools send cheerleaders in exceptionally skimpy outfits. In which case....
