Do you mean, do what do I get? If so, that answer is rather simple, all I got was $800 towards my holiday (that's in the same time frame of two years)

What I meant was how did you brother get so much money, trips etc & you can't, how does he qualify for all the thing you posted he got compared to what you had to pay.

That's what I've been asking myself. Though I don't want to seem that this is the "sibiling favertoism", i am not mad or anything over him getting more. What bugs me is his llack of gratitude.

Fresh start? I dunno about that one. In fact, I can't think of anyone who makes a new years resolution! Things don't change unless you make them change and it seems that a new year isn't motivation for most people.Good Morning everyone.
I hope you all are feeling even a tiny bit better than yesterday.
But, as the rumour goes tomorrow is meant to be a fresh start?

Fortunately for me, I'm one of those over-motiviated (annoyingly so) people, so I know that 2008 is going to be better than 2007....though 2007 was a pretty good year. I just have to think of what my next challenge may be!
Today I'm going to plant my lime tree. It's a 3 year old tree...bigger than me - and cost a fortuane! It smells wonderful already and has teeny fruit. I might cut the fruit off to stop it stressing in the heat we're going to have at the end of the week.
I've also booked to see the GP. My jaw/ear still hurts. Grrrr.

Lime tree...not lemon. It's a Krusea Lime to be more specific. It produces much more fruit than the Tahitian lime and the fruit is a slightly larger, more yellowish one.
And she's in the ground! It was hard digging the hole, but harder to get it in the hole!! The yard is starting to look great, and will look better when the fence goes up.

My New Year's resolution is to live a healthier life style.............no extras on the pizza
I went to a doctor to cure my shoulder pain....he told me to lose weight...oh yes and rest...I had to take another look at the sign on the front..I could swear it said 'Medical Clinic'
I have discovered that in the medical profession communication gets lost and if you don't ask you won't be told....I think each illness needs a standard set of questions you can ask if you happen to get it.
The thought for the month:
Don't go to any medical practice on a weekend if you can avoid it...like any other place the part-timers are in charge...at one point I mentioned to the person that may be I should have a tattoo above the vein so it would be easier to find...in hind site this may not have been the best comment given that the person in question was holding a rather sharp syringe...lucky it was the festive season....
And so I say farewell to 2007 and for those in Melbourne I hope you find a cool spot to see in the New Year and to all see you in 2008.

It's the silly season. People do silly things. I hope it's not going to ruin your night. Dancing is great fun! But not for me tonight - I'm avoiding the world. It'll be just me and my boy - he's coming over for a BBQ.
Back from the Doctors - I was right! It is my ear - I have a huge pimple in it. She was a bit worried it might get bigger and damage my ear drum, so I have drops to use.
