my Master and I were watching hairspray last night and adorable chipmunk cheeked Amanda Bynes popped on screen and we started talking about how she had a secretly subby aura about her, that was well, in his words, arresting (and I agree. I adore that little goofball.)
Do you ever notice this? Celebs with the subby face or personality?

Hairspray is my new favorite movie at the moment. I've watched it over a dozen times, and I listen to the soundtrack in my car. :D When Kitty and I saw it in the theater and it got to the part where Bynes' character is tied to the chair and her love interest shows up with a knife, I looked at Kitty and said, "Damn, this could rapidly get interesting." Too bad he just cut her loose.

Anyway, I have nothing productive to add, other than I love that fucking movie.

OOhhh....

You know, I can't think of any "secretly subbie" celebs out there. I can think of several who've pinged on the secretly Domly radar, but none the other way around.

Maybe you gotta be a dom for a sub to ping the subby radar.

Bunny have you seen the John Waters original of Hairspray. It had cult status, guess it still does. Manchild and I saw the new version only days ago, enjoyed it immensely but I think it still doesn't hold a candle to the first one. Divine was inspired, also featured Debra Harry ( Blondie fame ) . I would love to read your take on them after viewing both.

No, Miss Rebecca, I haven't, but after your recommendation, I do believe I'll seek it out. :rose:

and hairspray was a phenom*

ashton kutcher, I can imagine him suspended from the ceiling and demi moore in a latex cat suit.....
or maybe I just have an overactive imagination....

My favorite Monty Python joke in so many ways is the bunny in Holy Grail.

I think people can also work on that principal.

I'm waiting for the play of hairspray the movie the musical and then the movie of that.

Or a broadway production of Pink Flamingoes.

Dave Navarro has publicly admitted to being submissive in sexual relationships and being involved in BDSM. (Which is SO fucking hot, and almost brings out a "Domme urge" in me.)

Katie Holmes just gives me the creeps.

There's a subby face?
Yes, of course!

Part tangible expression, I suppose, but mostly an indefinable quality implying great potential.

As indescribable and individual in appeal as charisma. A totally delicious, impossible to feign, you-just-know-it-when-you-see-it kind of thing.

In my opinion the media is inundated with doms, male and female. Makes the occasional subby celeb stick out even further.

I always thought Jake Gyllenhaal came off subby, even before he played Heath Ledger's cock socket.
