I notice that keeping exotic animals for pets is against your sensibilities but killing and eating them seems to be just fine.

So, for you blackhearted heathens there is a website link just for you.

Ok, so I had to see if it's real. Suffice it to say that if you click order it says you can't cause it doesn't have you're email address and/or your not registered with dreamhost. But! Their is no spot to put in an email address.

Beyond all that, one of the testimonials has a warden who says he's been feeding the prisoners stuff from pets or food. I'd bet money that someone would have sued by now if that was true. And a vet who says that when people don't pay their bills he adopts their animals to pets or food and now everyone is paying their bills. Yeah, right.

P.E.T.A. = People Eating Tasty Animals

Exotics have been an ongoing argument for as long as the idea has existed..
In most cases there are a lot more "cons" than "pros"... *lol* Just ask Florida Animal Control...

Personally I'd like to have a pet Cheetah... They domesticate rather easily {in as much as ANY cat is domestic} ..But evidently you can't litter train them. *sigh*

While we're eating all those critters, why don't we use them to decorate too?

Bonsai Kittens

I'll admit it...if I could have any critter in the world, with no negative consequences to me, the animal, the environment or anything like that....I'd get myself a pet lion.

Nah... The Cheetah has the history of being trained as a hunting animal.. Like hawking... Or coursing hounds..
Also.. I understand they have rather palatable personalities..
But..Like most exotics... They aren't really "pets' Nor will they ever be so.
Big cats are great... And then they have that one off ten seconds where you get tasty.

Oh dear Lord, I'm so glad y'all told me that site is fake. I suspected as much but couldn't confirm it 100%. I was literally sick to my stomach!!

Nope. A white or black guy can get fined $25,000 for one bald eagle feather. Got to be a Native in a federally recognized tribe. I sure wouldn't want to get caught with bald eagle meat.

Even though I have bald eagles now circling my semi-suburb looking for chihuauha. I am so not shitting.

You mean the Taco Bells in your area won't seat the eagles? Isn't it against the law to discriminate against a nationaly symbol?

Haha, they'll probably get the min pins next door. Nope, for real, M and I were driving along and I looked up and it was definitely NOT a crow, nor a redtailed hawk, but had the distinctive white head and huge-ass wingspan.

This is, FYI, a story of crunchy enviro pains in the asses in the 70's accomplishing something.

Obviously you never took a close look at Chinese quisine......

I believe you. A friend of my in Washington State has been keeping her cats inside since a neighbor's small dog was killed by a bald eagle...

I'm tremendously jealous. Seriously.

In 49 years, I have only ever seen a bald eagle in one place - a cage at the zoo. I would really love to see one fly.

I ordered the New Born Golden Retriever (Code: NBGR) and I must say that I was very pleased. Response time was exceptional, the pups arrived in great condition and the recipes were great! I'll be ordering again soon!
