That is, in my house. I finally said f-it and turned up the thermostat. I'm tired of being cold (today is freezing). I was trying to conserve on my oil due to high cost of oil this year but I'm not going to freeze.:mad: How is the price of oil where you live?

I keep my Condo 75 in the winter. Oddly enough, I keep it 67 in the summer. You'd think I could split the difference and keep it 70 all year round.

I don't know what oil costs as I'm all electric.

I think this is the first year that electric is a far less expensive way to heat, in my neck of the woods.
75! Sauna!:)

Yes you are absolutely brilliant! Activity keeps you hot! That or I need to purchase some PJ's, like the ones from my childhood: the ones with feet.:D

You get me so fucking hot when you talk like that. :kiss:

I keep an electric oil filled space heater going, It cuts the furnace run time in half.

:)

Heating fuel is $3.99 a gallon and the electric company raises it's rates during the winter months. There will be lots of chilly people this winter.

Wow, that is very high! We are around $3.05-3.20 a gallon. It depends on your location and your method of payment.

Well, I really was hoping that it was not the "onesie PJ's" that did it for you. (As if I would wear such a thing :) )

Nah, those things cover your pretty feet. You know how I hate that.

$ 10 a gallon for Canola.

I'm in upstate NY and also have oil...luckily I am on a budget plan, I shell out $127.00 a month for 10 months, last year it was $224 a month. I'm doing all I can this winter to keep the heating bill down for next year...I just got new windows put in plus a new door, so I should definitely notice a difference in price next year.

They just filled up my tank last week and left the pricing info, it was listed at 2.89 a gallon.
