HELP! I'm trapped in my skin!

It's cool that I can easy create all kind of fonts, colors, sizes, etc. easily...and that there's even a new smilie (just one?).

But darn it! I was just trying to find a new skin, and it got stuck! I can't leave this one and I don't like it! Help!

I had the same thing when I changed the skin at the bottom of the page here, but when I went into my CP, it changed easily.

No good! It's weird. It remembers what I picked in Safari and won't give me a new skin no matter what I do. But in foxfire it gives me the original I had--and is fine. I'm afraid to test it. here.

Happened to me too. It didn't change in the Control Panel either when I tried to change it directly to the skin I wanted. I had to change to 'Use Forum Default' then change to the one I wanted.

I just logged out & back in -- and it reset itself.

I can't get my usual profile off of Synapse at all. It just keeps going back to it.

Ok, either the skin is doing it, or AVs are bigger.

I think its the skin screwing with my perception.

That's what pissed me off *last* time we got upgraded, I'd just about got used to my old skin and its gone. Again.

I hope manu is watching this thread, because I have one request; In the control buttons for the wysiwyg text bax, manu my darling, there is one button that says; "Wrap php tags around this text"

If this was a geek forum full of coders discussing the hows and whys, that would be useful and necessary.

But you know what we would really love to have here instead? A strike-through button along with the bold, italic and underline styles. OMIGOD that would be SO great!

I'm still on carbon... the skin it switched me to since mine went missing. The only other screwy thing I've noticed is that when I log on to the forums, instead of it showing my avatar up at the top like it usually does, it just shows a red x. Avatars show up on the posts though.
