Lingonberries! Yes. That's what I was thinking of, not loganberries.

They grow wild, here. And in scandanavia, too. I'd guess in russia, also. This is always on my family table when a turkey is served. I don't know where the recipie came from. My mom made it, as did my grandma, and my aunts.

Lingonberry Sauce

4 cups lingonberries (or cranberries)
3 cups sugar
2 cups water

Boil for about 10-15 minutes

Pour into containers.

Boiling water bath canning is optional if no refrigerator space.
