Prayer works when it can make a tossed coin come up heads significantly more than half the time. If it cannot do that, then everything is the same as if God did not exist, or ignored prayers.

Prayer isn't the same thing as rubbing the Genie's bottle. :)

Lol.....sure it isn't 👍

Because other people say it isn't.

Also, margarine is as good for you as butter.
And Coke is the same as Pepsi
And the earth is flat

Every single prayer is answered instantly. There are only three possible answers to each and every one, Yes...No..... and Wait. We are imperfect humans so the third one is the most difficult. You may believe as you choose though. Allah gives us freedom of choice.

If people want to pray, let them pray. Do their prayers hurt you in any way?

Do you get to decide the validity or outcomes of others' prayers?

NO, you don't.

Here's the thing - if you go to the store and buy butter for $1.49. I buy butter for the same price.

That's the same thing and we can make the same things from it.

Prayer is not like butter. It means something to you, but it means nothing to me. And objectively the meaning of that prayer, that I have from it is correct, based on results of that prayer.

The ONLY difference is that the djinn is a slave and has no choice. One who prays must leave it to God to decide how to respond. But if he never verifiably/falsifiably does, then no difference at all remains.

How about prayer is not a shopping list. Better? :)

You're trying to put a dollar value on prayer? :)

You're missing the point. Please Lord let the Bears win ain't a prayer. :)
