What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

Hopefully it is covered for you. That happened to me and the insurance company arranged to have the glass company come to my place of work and replace it. Easy peasy.
My bet is they need a heated garage in Alaska this time of year...

But yes, glass is usually considered a safety item, so damage that can't be repaired by injecting adhesive in the outer layer (some chip repairs are done this way) is taken seriously.

A cracked windshield isn't going to fall into your lap, they ARE safe to sit behind. An obstructed view is unsafe to drive with.

Insurance companies don't want you totaling a car they're insuring because you couldn't see through bad glass. That's bad for business.

Why did I agree to go to this party?
Now I have to shave,
And put on a nice shirt,
And be sociable,
And drive there,
And check into the hotel,
And have fun at the party,
And be judged if I go to bed alone,
Whose idea was this anyway 🤔
You also need to put on pants!

Why are they complaining about how long they work and are home by 5pm? I leave the house At 430am, and come home at 7pm couple days a week.
Oh god I remember those days, but it was 4am to 7.30.

Manager of a newsagents. Worked 6 months without a day off.

Left the keys on the counter and just walked out.

Don't blame you. Mine is from running errands and to different meetings for daughter.

Sicky Xerxes, day 3:

Still no fever. Sinus congestion and runny nose seem to have run their course, but the sore throat got a lot worse last night. On the plus side, sometime overnight my rare cough stopped being violent, choke-y and useless and became a lot more comfortable and productive. I feel like things are progressing in a good direction at the moment.

Still no real appetite, but I'm going to try and eat some breakfast here in a minute, get something in the system. Another mostly rest day ahead. I do have a couple of brief errands I absolutely have to run this afternoon, but if I wait until late afternoon that should give me plenty of rest time before hand.

However, the real purpose of this post is to discuss the utter cruelty shown me by my own brain. I had trouble sleeping soundly last night. I woke up a bunch, easily 5 or 6 times, maybe more. Mostly fell right back asleep quickly, but it was wasn't as restful as I'd like. And yet, in the late morning during one of my better sleep periods I had a dream that was I narcoleptic, and falling asleep standing up (falling over).

Dreaming about uncontrollably sleeping when you're having trouble sleeping is mean!
