Approval ratings...

LOL...keep lying to yourself champ, anyone with any passing interest in the history of democracy knows that's a load of shit and the exact reasons we had so many restrictions on it in the first place.

Universal sufferage is bullshit.
If you read The Federalist, you'll find Publius only makes that point when he's being wrong, e.g., warning of "paper money" as insane demagoguery.

Health care is not better in Canada.

Jolene Van Alstine was denied treatment in Canada for a painful thyroid disease

Canada's vaunted health care bureaucracy was pushing her to choose to be euthanized.

Mean Old Fascist Glenn Beck stepped in and he's paying for Jolene's treatment in the US out of his own pocket.

Killing a patient is not healthcare.
If Jolene Van Alstine lived in the United States she would have had to pay for treatment herself, unless she had a better insurance policy than most Americans do.

The lack of Republicans in New England has nothing to do with gerrymandering (although New Hampshire is in fact gerrymandered to the Republicans' benefit - it just doesn't work anymore because they couldn't fight demographic change forever). There are no GOP-heavy population centers being split into several different districts, like you see with blue cities in the South.

DAVID MARCUS: Democrat New England is the most gerrymandered region in American history

Region holds all 21 House seats across six states while Texas Democrats flee to protest redistricting

When one thinks of New England, they tend to think of charming little college towns, freezing winters and funny accents, but there’s something else that should be added to this list: The region is the most heavily gerrymandered, in favor of Democrats, of any in history.

The one he LOST, three times, but got away with cheating in 2024?

Seriously, if the 2024 election was investigated to the same degree as 2020 was, he'd be sitting in jail where he belongs, not the white house.

If the courts had done their job prior to that, remained independant and loyal to the Constitution, instead of negligent, hyper partisan and corrupt, he'd be sitting in jail where he belongs, not the white house.

There is no way he won in 2024. No way. The American people aren't as stupid as the Icanhelp/Latecomer/Hisarpy guy presents himself as, or as you Russian bots imagine us to be.
starlink anyone...we need a few hundred thousand votes to get the popular election and who knows, maybe more?

Fucking delusional ....go watch some more Disney. The only people who have benefited are the parasite class.......professional baby mamma's and 'educators'.
Id say Black people would find it better now, they can vote.
Women kind of prefer that right as well.

So ummm, yeah

Canada for the moment has lower rates of immigration than the US does and they adjust immigrants out of their statistical data via what they call Provisional death estimates.

If the US did that same thing and we excluded immigrants from our statistics we'd look better too.

As it stands US figures do not discriminate between US born people and those who just stepped across the border from El Salvador.
oh snap, gotta update my map...thanks for the reminder...el salvador now borders the usa...and the gulf of mexico is still listed on my map...shit, that got eradicated not too long ago.
thanks again.

Many of the world's happiest countries, like Finland, Denmark, and Iceland, are Nordic social democracies or welfare states with strong socialist elements, focusing on universal services (healthcare, education), social support, trust, and work-life balance.

Great for them. Meanwhile, many people in foreign countries with those types of government, wish they were here instead of there.

Which makes one wonder why you're such of supporter of a dream killer.

There is a reason why the U.S. gets very little immigration from Europe nowadays, despite so many Americans being more ready to welcome Euros than anybody else.

DAVID MARCUS: Democrat New England is the most gerrymandered region in American history

Absolutely nothing in that article supports that claim. But just for fun...

Democrats will counter that it is a very liberal region, or that no map could be made in a state like Massachusetts to accommodate a GOP seat. But in fact, there are millions of Republicans in New England. President Trump nearly won New Hampshire in 2024 and Maine has a Republican senator (at least sort of) in Susan Collins.
What happened in New Hampshire and Maine has nothing to do with whether or not a more GOP-friendly map could be made in Massachusetts. (Iowa and Minnesota, Washington and Idaho, Virginia and West Virginia, Wyoming and Colorado...there are a whole lot of neighboring states that vote very differently from one another.)

It wasn’t all that long ago that the former Republican governor of Massachusetts became the GOP presidential nominee in the form of Mitt Romney, so it's not like New England is devoid of conservatives, they just don’t get any representation.
Although Romney claimed later on to have been "a severely conservative governor," he actually campaigned as a moderate. And remember, he lost MA in a landslide when he ran for president. Also, Kansas and Kentucky have Democratic governors right now and Vermont has a Republican one. That doesn't mean those states are trending to their respective parties - as you know, it's not even close.

Now it is suggested that artificial intelligence could do it, but which AI, whose AI, and what will the prompt be? "Draw fair districts?" Who is defining fair? You see the problem here?
Sure I do. But if he had any examples to point to of a deeply Republican part of any New England state with enough population to qualify for its own congressional district but was currently split into two or more districts with population anchors in blue cities or suburbs, he would have posted them here. (You could make a case that Maine's second district is a fair-and-square Republican region, although its current member is a Democrat. But he doesn't even mention that.)

The only leg that the Texas Democrats might have to stand on is that what the Republicans are doing is so unconventional, so out of keeping with the spirit of the law that criminal civil disobedience is demanded. But if so, why isn’t it demanded in New England, as well?
Because no New England state engaged in mid-decade redistricting on direct orders from the leader of their party. Until and unless that happens, it's apples and oranges. And David Marcus knows it, which is why he doesn't provide any on-point examples whatsoever.

Hopefully we can keep socialism from gaining any more ground here.
(I always love how you reply to your own posts using different aliases, you fucking goof)

Real socialism is unlikely to gain ANY ground here, since there is very little socialism here in the US to begin with- and there never was. Of course, you call everything "Socialism" that isn't Jim-Crow or Social Darwinism, since you aren't educated enough to know the real meaning of the word "Socialism." I've tried to explain it to you more than once, but you don't seem to grasp it (Which is sadly typical with you.)

If you read The Federalist, you'll find Publius only makes that point when he's being wrong, e.g., warning of "paper money" as insane demagoguery.

History makes that point over and over again. Giving a bunch of retards the vote is a horrible idea and has NEVER ONCE worked out.

So will you hand yours back?

Depends. Is there a system and SOME kind of standards in place to keep the haters/morons out like IDK being a CITIZEN......I know the very metion of that has triggered no less than a half dozen dems into nuclear meltdowns about how the entire planet shoudl be allowed to vote the USA out of it's wealth and prosperity....because fucktards gonna tard.

Or is it just me who's not getting to vote??
