What will be the GOP's message in the 2026 midterms?

What will the Pubs point to as an accomplishment? How will they say, "You should leave us in control like we are now"?

The Dems' message, of course, will be "We're not Republicans!"

Which ought to be enough.

"We are Americans. The other side hates you. We lowered the price of gas and food. We killed narcos. We closed the borders. If you are against any of that, fuck you."
Even you know those are lies. Nobody will believe them. Prices are still up, and they ain't going down before November 2026, not unless Trump does a total 180 on a LOT of things. Nobody believes those Venezuelan boats were carrying drugs. The new border policiies have caused nothing but harm -- nothing at all.

Hopefully they drop a litany of hate....

"My armor is contempt. My shield is disgust. My sword is hatred."

Pete shows us all the Deus Vault ink while Trump gives us the helecopter, Homan and Bondi then declare the deportation of all aliens....with MAXIMUM prejudice.

Everyone cheers and Democrats lose their ass again after they try to Saint another wife beating human trafficking piece of shit.

After that we all get to watch a son of Uncle Sam, an Ultra-ICE agent showing us all how American's traditionally deal with pirates.....

The Dems' real problem right now is that "We're not Republicans!" is all they've got. What they need is a left-progressive version of Project 2025, something with real substance, offering things not even the Dems have ever tried before.

It's really simpler than that.

They just need to stop being such Karens. Trying to shame and insult people you're very clearly disgusted with and hate into voting for you is not how democracy works.

That's no son, not even a bastard.

Oh that's how it should be in the future here.

Here is how America ACTUALLY handled pirates traditionally.....

Regarding the thread title, the GOP "message" has already been sent. It's more daily chaos and conflict from the Pig. Nothing about that message has changed from the Pig's first term-- in fact, the chaos and conflict has gotten much worse.

The fate of the GOP has already been sealed with regard to voter dissatisfaction. The only way the GOP can retain control of Congress in 2026 is to cheat in the election or suspend it entirely. The Pig will choose one of those options.

His 25-2 Supreme Court record this year doesn’t just show legal victories; it proves he’s acting firmly within the bounds of the Constitution. Meanwhile, the Democrats still struggle to grasp the limits of their own arguments and the rule of law. This isn’t just about politics; it’s about upholding constitutional authority that the Democrat opposition continues to ignore or misunderstand.

They need to discard their anti-American platforms. They should renounce Socialism, social Marxism, and their whimpering embrace of Gyno-Fascism that have seized control of the Democrat Party and made it appear stupid.

There is no such thing as "Gyno-Fascism." There is no such thing as "social Marxism." (There is no such thing as Cultural Marxism either, which is probably what you meant.) And to suggest the Dems have ever supported "Socialism" at any time in the party's history shows you do not live on the Earth with the blue sky.

To be competitive, the Dems need to move left, which is what the people want, as you can tell by the public response to the Sanders/AOC rallies. Moving right like you recommend would just leave them as the Republicans-Lite they are now.

"We know we made some big mistakes, but holy fucking shit, look at what the Dems have done. We fuck up less because we are less fucked up."

No, they need something else. The Pubs really, really cannot claim to have fucked up less than the Dems.

It proves nothing but that he stacked the Court worse than FDR ever tried.
That’s just baseless whining. The Court’s decisions reflect legal merits and constitutional interpretations, not political stacking. Comparing Trump’s judicial appointments to FDR’s ignores the fact that Trump followed the proper confirmation process, and the justices ruled independently based on the law. The 25-2 record shows the strength of the legal arguments, not some conspiracy to “stack” the Court. If anything, it proves that the judiciary still respects constitutional boundaries despite political noise, notwithstanding the efforts of Justice Elena "I've never been married, never had kids, why do you ask", Kagan, Justice Sonia "the wise Latina" Sotomayor, and Justice Kettanji "I'm not a biologist, how would I know what a woman is" Jackson. All of whom presented arguments and dissents based solely on twisted emotion instead of the law. He compiled this remarkable record in just ten months of legal combat against the woke incompetence of his Democrat opposition. All of which showcased his ability and tenacity in defense of the oath he took to defend the Constitution. Cry harder and accept the fate you bestowed on yourself.

There was nothing proper about substituting Gorsuch for Garland. Nor about ever even considering Kavanaugh's name in the first place.

There is no way the GOP can, at this point, win any swing votes by marketing themselves as the "constitutional" party. Nobody's gonna buy it.

Some huge crashes and collapses are coming. If they happen before the election, with wealthy people becoming bankrupt and huge corporations demanding bailouts, then how the Pubs respond, billion dollar bailouts or fuck off, will be a campaign issue.

That would divide the party -- there's already a fissure about the GOP favoring the rich over the party's rank and file.
