Anyone from the UK?

I just had a conversation with someone based on something I wrote here. Don't ask how we got from my bum to Christmas biscuits, because it doesn't matter. The conversation was drifting along as such conversations tend to do when I received a compliment, if it was one, that I was very well prepared for baking said Christmas biscuits.
While formulating a coherent response to this rather simple compliment, I realised how much fun I had writing it. Since your chat was the basis for the whole thing, I feel I can't keep it from you. Of course, one could argue that no one wants to read my ramblings, but I'm not forcing anyone to read along. Just skip this part if you want.

The preparation of Christmas Biscuit baking involves first establishing the Aim, which is the fundamental and non-negotiable success condition: to create a specific quantity and variety of delicious, aesthetically pleasing Christmas Biscuit for a particular social function, making this taste, presentation standard, and social function the supreme guide for all subsequent steps. This aim then dictates the Objective, which involves successfully executing the necessary culinary campaigns, specifically the technical stages of mixing, chilling, rolling, cutting, decorating, and properly storing the biscuits. The planning must identify the Center of Gravity, such as achieving the perfect dough consistency or maintaining precise oven temperature, as failure here jeopardizes the entire effort. Finally, the Strategy involves creating a detailed Plan (the recipe and timeline) that links the overall goal to the necessary Means (resources) by correctly assessing and securing all ingredients, equipment, and sufficient time. This comprehensive preparation must also account for Friction and Chance, preparing contingencies for potential chaos like spills or equipment failures, ensuring the entire process remains rational and strictly serves the joyful, tasty, and aesthetic purpose of the holiday biscuit tradition.

Whoever finds out which baker supported me with strategy and tactics can reward themselves by reading his excellent book ‘About Biscuits’ again.
Glad I'd had a coffee. That's incredible well thought out. I'm usually just 'I fancy biscuits'

Hope your ride to work wasn't too bad.

Frosty here. Fortunately I’m WFH so don’t have to de-ice the car.
Good morning,
Yes it is. I need to write some official letters, finalise some calculations, tell my technician that he's an idiot, organise some spares because of said idiot...
But I don't want to.

There’s words and phrases for that. Prevaricating being one. Can’t be arsed being another. 😂

It's hard to sleep when it's too warm isn't it, you need to find a happy medium, or someone to warm you up in just the right places.
