That was Obama. When the communist Zelaya was impeached and then removed by the Honduran legislature Obama at one point threatened to have the US military intervene to restore the wanna-be dictator to power.

Zelaya had attempted to overturn term limits in Honduras by trying to run a vote for a new constitution which was illegal under existing Honduran law. Zelaya ignored the legislature and the Honduran supreme court when they told him to cease trying to overthrow their constitution and finally both bodies asked the military to remove Zelaya from power.

Obama wanted to reinstall the communist and Honduras was perfectly ready to go to war to assert their sovereignty.

The US Navy has the drugs, or what was left of them, under look and key awaiting disposal. So "why don't they trot them out?" you may ask. Mainly because they are perfectly aware that people that suffer from terminal TDS will just ask, "How do we know you picked those drugs up in the water?"

So just keep blowing their asses out of the water and then swing by and pick up whatever is left floating and may represent a hazard to navigation.

What I find amazing is that after the first couple of boats were blown to hell they are still able to find people stupid enough to attempt the run. <shrug>
