Endless Ends

Deadly Instincts (1977)

(aka Breeders)

This one is for you @hotwords229_A. Not quite a slasher flick, but I figure alien-crashes-at-all-girl-college is pretty close. There's plenty of gratuitous nudity and even . . . ovipositation. 🫣

Looking it up there seems to be two movies:
Breeders 1986 and then remake Deadly Instincts 1997.
It looks like Breeders is the more “nude” of the two, curious which you watched. 😇

Oops! I thought I linked. It's not either of those. :p

1997

Wait. The earlier version was more nude? The latter already had a fair amount of naked!

Tomorrow, visit to the salon for a haircut!!

And considering the above^, possibly a head to toe body scrub. There are some things Enny does not need to know exist. If only they had a nice little hibiscus scrub for the mind.

You really don’t have to watch the whole process you know.

The last couple of days it's felt as though I'm getting a little of my bounce back. Finally.

You have much to answer for, 2025.

May you be forgiven.

But not yet. 😠

I'm a Capricorn. We are not all that forgiving. :p

Organic sustainable mattresses.

Latex only? Hybrid? Best brand for a side sleeper? 🤔

Does anyone have input? @aussiegeekygal? @LadyLascivious1? Someone?
You rang?

I'm a sleep science nerd.
Okay... So first things first, you need support. I actually recommend a coiled mattress with a topper of some kind for comfort (softness, temperature, etc).

I used the postural restoration institute's guidance to get a sturdy mattress (coil density matters!) and added a Japanese bamboo topper like this to have a really soft landing. I lucked out that a local mattress factory here makes them to order, so I got a really good mattress at a crazy good price (I paid like $1100 for a high quality King)

I sleep like a baby

The best life advice anyone ever gave me was to invest in the things between you and the Earth. Shoes. Chairs. Beds. Gravity is indiscriminate.

Organic sustainable mattresses ?

Out of curiousity I searched this category . . . when I saw a top rated one had a special sale with $325 off the normal price of $2,545, I said "nah, I can do without that kind of comfort".

Thank you!!

I have - not surprisingly 😂 - questions:

1) You didn't mention organic. Do you think the chemical exposure and VOCs aren't that much of a hit?
2) Do you put the topper over a a plain mattress or over a pillow top?
3) What is it you like about the bamboo topper?*

I'm currently use this natural latex brand, but wouldn't mind something a little more cush.

I have really been struggling with sleeping well this last several years. Desperate times call for desperate measures. 😬

Besides, sustainable is never a bad thing.

Although water beds and sex seem synonymous with one another, is it really that easy to have sex in a waterbed? It seems like the purchase is all wrong. I suppose there are different degrees of sloshiness, but maybe sex is just different in a waterbed? 🤔

It's just a matter of the partners coordinating their movements with the generated waves . . . or so I've been told. ;)

It requires a bit of coordination to make sure the movement works, but it’s not a problem. I lost both my virginities in a water bed - different ones a decade apart. Many fond water bed memories 🤭

I did a lot of research when I bought a new mattress 3 years ago and love the one I have. It’s like sleeping on a cloud. But I didn’t get into organic or sustainable options. I just needed something that would help me sleep better and that was very soft.

I was thinking about your penchant for shitty horror movies the other day when I was reading an email newsletter from a gun author.

https://dmguay.wordpress.com/

My wife gave me her first book (24/7 Demon Mart) a few years ago. They are silly, bloody and fun.

But the author also sends out a somewhat monthly newsletter with recommendations for not just books but also movies. If you’re ever in need of weird recommendations, you might want to check her out.

Oh, goodness. These look like a hoot! I will check out her site at length.

Possibly while I'm trapped on the couch with my upcoming tryptophan hit. :p
