Feeling a little low in the run up to Christmas. Not going to be a great Christmas this year as cant get out, cant put up a tree.

Yeah just get lonely during the day. Gf usually visits in the evening and brings me a dinner, otherwise i just see my carer in morning and lunch for 30.mins. Still stuck indoors as waiting for community OT to assess my needs for ramps, stair lift etc which wont be until Feb.

All done for today. Got soaked cos everything was dripping. Can’t feel my fingers yet.

But it’s a lovely winters low in the sky sun shining in on me in the kitchen. Can hardly see to type!

That sucks. But at least it’s in winter as you didn’t wanna be outside yesterday. It was grim.

Did manage to pop out yesterday to do some shopping with help from gf. Borrowed some ramps from a friend. Luckily didnt spend too long in the rain, just a short dash from the car to the shop. Having a blue badge now means i can park closer to the shop entrance at least. Ordered some wheelchair gloves as trying to wheel yourself with wet rims is difficult.

Just cant believe its a 15 week wait from when i was discharged in Oct for OT to come and assess me. What di they expect me to do. Hate sleeping downstairs and using a comode.

Housing officer coming Wednesday afternoon to assess me. Maybe they can offer me a bungalow or flat on the council although depending if and where it is. I dont realy want tk move from my rented house as its a lovely area and landlord has been wonderful. Even tho the rent is quite high but normal for my area.
