Dot matrix printers being the soundscape to hell.

I liked the sound of dot matrix printers. Daisy wheel was worse.

What about stereo / radiograms

that there were no such things as a video recorder, never mind DVD, Blu-ray, and now streaming.

Our first video recorder was an Akai VHS. Top loader with big clunky buttons.

In fact, a live stream was something you took off your socks and shoes and enjoyed on hot summer days

Or when you came in from the snow, wellies, big socks off, in front of the fire, hands and feet hurting as they warmed up, a glass of hot Ribena in your hands.

Mum used to put a couple of cubes of jelly in mugs and pour hot water in. We had extra thick curtains hung by the front door to keep the cold out
