Anyone from the UK?

Was looking forward to a cracking aurora tonight, visible down to the M4. Unfortunately, the charged particles from the CME haven't been travelling as quickly as was predicted. We'll still get the aurora as the front of the wave hits us, but the central peak will now arrive when the magnetic field lines are pushing it towards Iceland. Because the energy isn't as great, the emissions will be less visible than originally hoped for those south of the Mersey - Humber line.

Still heavy rain here when it was supposed to have crossed the Pennines by now. I reckon it's going to be a close run thing between the cloud leaving and the aurora arriving. :(

Morning all. Never seen the Aurora, when ever there is anything like that in my neck of the woods it's always cloudy and I seem to miss out!
