With the radishes only cook what you will eat. They dont keep well...they get sort of weirdFinally caught up for the moment... won't last but it's one race I don't mind falling behind in now and then.
Finally some good news this week...
Bad News: SIL dx with colon cancer
Good News: Surgery went well & she's on her way home today. Pending labs, they think surgery should have gotten it all as dx early.
Bad News: Woman attacked & raped a few hundred yards from my doorstep
Good News: She fought like hell, got DNA, gave a detailed description... and they caught the perp!!
Good News - I have a new veggie soup recipe that I can try since it's not a tomato-based broth. Woot!
On that note... what else is going on today?
Thanks for the recipe!! I'm revising my grocery list.
Definition: FAFO

I like me some roast taters... adding radishes to the shopping list

Really looking forward to trying them!
I'm so sorry, @Wat_Tyler. Hoping there's a fix - like adjusting medication. Maybe those pain meds are giving her loop-de-loops?
OMG - Yes!

Sounds like a Buckcherry song IYKYK
Blink is a good book, too... I thought it had more to do with split-second decisions, but thinking about it those are based on gut instincts.
I do also recommend the de Becker book. Very interesting read and can be helpful IMO.
Hmm, what's a good word for "more than busy"? Let's see...
hectic, frenzied, inundated, slammed...
Oooh - new band name:
Chaotic Productivity
@Wonderer67's playing both bass and drums for them
Thinking I may need to watch it again... in '82 I was... young-ish![]()
I have a list![]()
Have a wonderful time, RJ!!
Old clocks, ones with pendulums, are easier to turn forward. I prefer to turn them back, especially when I was working. The Amish don't adjust their clocks, or at least they didn't when I was living up in PA.I hate turning the clocks back…![]()
There is something about micky d'sLove it!!! Of course, I remember when I preferred Mickey's to Hawdee's . . . .

It's real
Ummmm no... not a big fan of blueberry or cherry in cheesecake.... but beggars cant be choosersI'll make you some! Any flavor preference?
YepThanks for this. Can I use the regular red radishes?
Oh i have seen some that resembledHow come I never see trick or treaters that look like this?!?![]()
When did our parents turn in to little liarsWhat is it with these mommas? Took her to the doc yesterday. They were supposed to go over her last MRI from like a month ago. They should have had this pow-wow weeks ago IMO. Yet here we are…
She’s been complaining she still hurts so back in for an X-ray. Doc comes in and starts comparing her last four (you read that right) X-rays since August. Well guess what. She’s broken a bone in her T12!. When the doc starts asking, and I start questioning, she finally admits that she slipped in the shower and pancaked on the shower stool from about 8-10”….
See, she took the nice big one I had loaned her (from when SWMBO had knee surgery) and got a smaller one because it was prettier and smaller.
Wit’s end…
After a nice lunch I took her to eye doctor and everything checked there…it was in the waiting room there I started asking about a bed guard I bought when my dad was bad off right before he passed. She sheepishly mentioned it’s in the attic. Well, when the kiddies brought my granddaughter over before trick or treating, we’re all trying to figure out how to deal with this and that’s when I find out she told my DiL that she threw the bed rail away…
Wit’s end…
Didn’t have many little ghost’s and goblin’s. Our neighborhood is starting to “mature” so not as many kids…probably for the best.
Follow a few photographers around the InterWeb and one gal out of Norway does Macro on Fungi…

You made me think about this cover.
Thanks for the coffee OM!
I remember going to a school auction with dad, where we picked up a 1950 Chevy Suburban for 50 bucks. They said it had been sitting for 20 years.I love my heavy old anvil engines because they are all still here with all their funny old pieces which will still do, in almost all cases, all of the things which the engineers intended for them at Creation.
Economy be damned, squeeze moar dinosaur juices!!!
Thank you!Blink by Malcolm Gladwell
Spot on, but these big 2-stroke diesels get a prelube and a "blow down" to clear the cylinders prior to startup.Diesels are so easy. If'n it's getting fuel and it'll crank, it'll run.
Who needs gauges anyway???
I admire you!Heading out for 10![]()
