The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

They've been running me ragged, every day this hitch.
Virtually zero sleep last night, as it was a struggle just to not get tossed out of the bunk.
I'm SOOOO READY for time with my Goddess in the mountains... two more weeks and I should be driving home.
Glad you'll be home soon
In the meantime... more bologna 🤢 and requisition a lee cloth 🫂

I need to get serious about going back to work. Good luck. I hope you can enjoy it.
In my pretend retirement today, the woman scored tickets to trick or treat at the Whitehouse. I get to play dad and grandpa taking the momma, kid and grand kid on our excellent adventure.
These other posts above I’m negotiating to take them to my cheesesteak place before we cross the river.
@Wat_Tyler Lots of cool tools the agents carried. I liked the SR16 the most. So sleek. Makes my 15 look like a boat anchor.

I remember when we first met decades ago, tall, shy, but certain. Gorgeous thick straight black hair, great smile with a twinkle in Your eyes when you laughed. Your work was amazing. I explained the system and you followed it. I could trust you and I knew at some point we would be friends And we did, you became part of my family.
Over the years, we were there for each other, filled in each other’s gaps, when I was having trouble finding a place, you said I could live with you, you helped me with every moved, checked out every guy and I handled the things you couldn’t. We liked the same music, food, and hanging out just chatting on the back porch or the garage in the evenings. You worked for me and I worked for you. When I didn’t have a credit card and needed one, you gave me yours to use. We were friends and I never thought the end would come so soon. It’s still just hitting me that we won’t talk or see each other when I get home, that we won’t laugh again.
I keep remembering the day you came running toward my car as I was backing out yelling “ I love you! ( pause) but not like that,” us laughing and people staring. I loved you too, although I never said it, I think you knew. Rip.
Beautiful fitting tribute

Night, Kath! 🙋‍♀️

I've always found radishes too ... sharp? But my mom loved them raw. Never occurred to oven roast them. Do they mellow out?

I like Daikon radish. Really mild in comparison. Reminds me more of Jicama in taste and texture.
They get sweet..if u didn't know ur never guess that they are radishes.. must try
