Can anyone elucidate the expectations of readers in Erotic Horror?

Half the movie centers on a woman feeding people to her dead lover and making out with his half formed naked corpse. She then feeds her husband, the guys brother, to him to finish his revival. I need a rewatch, but I believe he also makes a pass at his niece while wearing her father's skin.

Really? Hmm, maybe it's been too many years for me to remember then. I guess I don't remember much beyond the pin-head guy. I retract my statement.

eta: I just read the wikipedia synopsis and I definitely forgot an awful lot of that movie.

Doug Bradley as Pinhead is iconic and amazing and delivers the best fucking lines, but he's actually in so very little of the movie.

Alien is clearly a horror movie. Just a SciFi one. But it’s also more Hitchockian than slasher. I think I prefer psychological horror. I like Mike Flanagan’s work (not Usher ).

Maybe because I was so young when I saw those, Alien and The Shining, but no thanks on those again. 2nd Alien movie no problem though. Alien gave me nightmares for a week!
