13 Days of Spooky Film/TV 2025!📺🧛‍♀️⚰️🎃🗡👽👻🕸🕷🪓😱🧛‍♂️🎬

Day 2: If you could cast yourself in a remake of your favorite spooky movie, who would you be and why?

I'm really excited to hear everyone's answers. 🎬🎃👂

Day 1: Your favorite spooky television show or miniseries and why.

The Real Ghostbusters 1986-1991

Pure nostalgia for me. LOVED this show so much. Fun fact: The voice of Venkman (Bill Murray's character in the 1984 movie) was Lorenzo Music who also voiced a very popular animated feline at the time. I was convinced that lasagna loving cat was voiced by Bill Murray.

Why did I love it so much? This guy...

Day 1: my favorite spooky show was definitely either X files or stranger things. I loved both of those and they were just scary enough. Some episodes were campy and funny, and other scared the hell out of me.

Day 2: If you could cast yourself in a remake of your favorite spooky movie, who would you be and why:

It would have to be Evil Dead 2 because they just had way too much fun with this movie. It was over the top, ridiculous, and what every early-80s slasher horror film hoped to be. I’d love to have been a part of that.

Day 2: Michelle Pfeiffer in What Lies Beneath with Harrison Ford. It’s a spooky thriller about a woman who suspects her house is haunted. I like it because it’s scary (to me) without blood and gore. Plus to play Harrison’s wife - sure why would I turn that down. There’s a seance and another story going on with the neighbor and his missing wife. Maybe I need to do a rewatch?

I would play Sack head Jason in Friday the 13th Part 2.
It’s one of my personal favorites, the scariest Friday movie, has the best Final Girl, plus it just looks fun!

Playing Jason or Michael Myers would be tons of fun because you don’t have any lines to remember, the costume is super easy, you get to chase hot girls and occasionally jump through a window.

One of my goals in life is to jump through a giant window (preferably candy glass and pre-scored balsa wood).

I would chase Amy Steele through the woods all night long! ♥️🎃♥️

Uzumaki is a recent favourite. I've not been able to admire spirals since.

My favourite spooky movie? I think I'm too old to play any of the characters except those that die.

Instead, I'll be undead like Dracula in the classic 1958 version starring Christopher Lee.

I don’t know how old you are, but let’s not forget the great contributions of elderly people in horror movies:

Dr. Loomis in Halloween
Grandpa in The Lost Boys
Elvis in Bubba Ho Tep
Scary Old German Guy in The Monster Squad
Professor Van Helsing in Dracula (1931)
Amanda Krueger in Nightmare on Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors

These are true horror heroes! It ain’t over till it’s over! 👍

That's a lot of fun. There are also a lot of recent films where the elderly are scary and disturbing, even Demi Moore suffers despite looking utterly glamorous.
