Insurance companies are getting smart and charging folks in flood plains and other high risk areas very high premiums or won’t offer it.

Absolutely! Yesterday was busy with a walk, brunch with friends and her college age children who are so interesting and fun. Then a marathon session of laundry 😂 while watching several football games.

The challenge today is to stay busy.
 
Looks like the 3 am club was busy. Slept to 530 but wished a little longer. Oh well in still feel pretty good.

So good morning denizens of the diner. Nothing special planned. Today is best day of the week- sunshine and autumn. Trying to stay busy and in the moment. Take care.

But the insurance companies will still bend the rest of us over too. Mine DOUBLED my homeowner's rate after Hurricane Katrina, despite my place being in the middle of the Ozark Mountains.... "shared loss" is what I call it.

Shared screwing. Same thing happened after a few tornadoes. Lady down the street got free siding and roof with minimal damage.... the insurance adjuster according to her didnt even vone out because of all the claims people filled out.... in other end of street 30 yr old roof damaged on a shack and they got full replacement of a metal roof.... and my pememiums raise
