Just ditched the 100 ft hose at the Summer place. It was a pain in the ass to roll that thing up.When we bought this house, i needed new hoses. We have over acre between the front and the back. So, i did the logical thing, bought the best hose money could buy, at the longest length they sold. The fucking things are thick! And unroll like solid steel coils. I fight those fuckers every spring and fall. Last year i didnt even bring them in, just unhooked it from the spigot. I just couldnt with those things. It’s a battle. One i struggle to win. Bucket and a sponge would be in my future!
No that talk was totally hot..Hoses![]()

Brakes are pretty important though. Did you catch them before the rotors went?300 bucks later before my trip I need new brakes.
I hate being an adult
I'm the same way. I have a terrible time wearing long sleeves, even in cold weather. Now if my room is really cold, yes but most of my time is in short sleeved shirts.cooler nights are comfy for me but H and his mum find it cold already... I'm still using one light coverlet and a sheet at night whereas H has 5 layers of varying thicknesses. I put his mum's thick duvet on her bed and left some extra blankets in case she wants them, too. plus I've done her annual den heater clean out and relighting. It's a simple enough job but it takes a little time to be thorough... can't believe she used to pay someone over $100 for about half an hour's basic work. Did that this morning, along with filling up the bird feeders and not long got back in from splitting wood ready for when H feels cold enough to want the basement furnace lit
My head is just drenched in sweat![]()
Nope. The calipers didnt release and thus they they compressed the brakes and rotors.Brakes are pretty important though. Did you catch them before the rotors went?
updated to say: I was too optimistic. Between H and the bloody cat, I was disturbed so many times it threw my brain for a loop and so a timely nap this afternoon was required to reboot it![]()

That's a nice bike.I brought my mint 1992 Bridgestone RB-1 road bike (bicycle) into the bike shop for a going over before summer, and the staff at the shop acted like it was the holy grail - the kids (they were probably in their twenties or early thirties) even called other staff out of the back to look at it.
Weird… (at lest I felt weird about it…)

They can be a more comfortable ride. I like the 40 psi on the 40 mm clinchers on my dualsport bike.A touring bike
Speaking of “H”, we haven’t had any update on his post op progress. Hope all are doing well in the Harrybutters household.

She's eating less and has lost weight as things start slowing down with her but she had her hair permed not long ago and still enjoys church every sunday. hiyaoh, his shoulder's fine, the scar tissue is still pink and shiny and a little taut but it's fine, especially considering the size of the tumor removed! No pain. His ear, well, he's been ignoring that for all the wrong reasons and it's not getting any better. *sigh*
We're all ok, and his mum's just doing her thing which involves a lot of reading, word-searches and napping but at 102 going on 103 that's greatShe's eating less and has lost weight as things start slowing down with her but she had her hair permed not long ago and still enjoys church every sunday.
Thanks for asking![]()
