Everyone have a good night…gonna give my Commando’s one more quarter…then off to bed…unless of course…they improve their attitudes!😂
Haha.

I so wanna out the most insane and lewd and horrific things to people who text me “how was your day?”

Or “it’s been so long since I’ve heard from you.”

It is soooo tempting….

Reminds me of one of the houses we lived in growing up. 1922 Tudor
Built-in woodwork
Leaded glass
Oil furnace - converted from the original coal furnace
Still had the original Coal Room but the external access door had been closed over.

There was no electric in that room so hard to see, but still had the cinderblock partial walls for channeling the coal from the exterior wall/door to where you would load a barrow to wheel down to the furnace room.

Dad loved snicking pieces of coal from that room and putting them in our stockings as a joke at the holidays.
Sounds like a cool house! I love old houses but know they have their challenges.

Home. Got out later. Had to drive in the dark. Twarn't skeert. Made some phonecalls for conversation along the way. Here's hoping that we entertained the FBI listening in. I didn't capitalize that either. Most of my front porch loot was here when I got here. More comes tomorrow. TDK is over there tearing up some of the packing paper. Everyone looks good. I ordered them a new water fountain gizmo. Here's hoping they like it. It's supposed to be good for cats who eat a lot of kibble. Mine do.
Glad you had company on your drive home. Makes the miles go by faster.

I tried getting a fountain for my girl early on. She wasn't drinking enough (according to me). I tried so many things! Different kinds of water, even pond water since she loved drinking from the pond. I thought she might like a fountain but she seemed to be scared of it. 🙄😒

I hope the kitties love theirs!

I didn't disappear.
Just been busy with getting Lady K medical services.
She's starting on Prozak Saturday to keep her calm....she has bad panic attacks.
And it's putting at strain on me too.
So goodnight spoonies

Just know it takes about 2 weeks for Prozac to reach peak effectiveness. And she may need her dosage tweaked. 🫂🫂

She saw the NP this week and got the dope. She sees the MD on two weeks to get . . . whateverthefuck he intends to do. There should be some kind of Magic Splooge they could shoot into the crevices to make it feel more gooder. I have no idea.

Better medicine through engineering or something.
There are actually therapies for disk compression. They generally involve surgery. The vertebrae can be built up.

No doubt. Thanks brother. I’ve seen more doctors offices and hospital floors this year than I ever have. I don’t recommend it.

Uncle pulled through his procedure with flying colors. He had blood clots (haven’t heard why yet?) on his lungs and in his legs. He had a mini-stroke last April and is in assisted care. They couldn’t get a cath in his lungs due to his pacemaker, so they ran two smaller vibrating lines to each lung (our nurses can probably tell us the actual term!) along with meds that break up the clots. It only took an hour but when we went in to see him in ICU he looked like Darth Vader with all the hook ups, drips, and individual (at least 8) monitors for each drip!

Spent most of the day out with my cousins which gave us a chance to catch up. I just found out one owns two pasture poodles…who knew? I’m going to try and worm my way into a couple of riding opportunities!

Momma couldn’t attend the hospital visit as her radiation treatment side effects kicked in but we’re going out today. It’s rainy and dreary, so we deal with that. Everyone have a great weekend!

I'm glad your uncle did well, H! I'm not sure what kind of vibrating lines were placed. Generally, a pacer doesn't preclude placing a pulmonary artery catheter, but it might be how it was placed. Many older persons don't drink enough as their thirst mechanism doesn't work as it does for younger persons. This leads to dehydration and an increased incidence of blood clots. Most clots form in the deep veins of the legs then travel to the lungs via the right side of the heart. It is intimidating to walk into the ICU with all the lines and monitors!

The missus and I are off to see my friend who’s in a rehab for in particularly nasty MS flareup.

Good Jersey bagels and coffee are on the way!

We are starting to get some of the effects of the north east. Some pretty good gusts of wind, but only light rain.
I've read about the noreaster you guys are getting. NY declared a state of emergency. Stay safe, you guys! 🫂
