One Big Beautiful Bill Act

You are wrong.
The original Affordable Care Act (ACA) was primarily funded through new taxes on high-income individuals and medical-related industries, along with cuts to Medicare provider rates and Medicare Advantage payments, which collectively were projected to reduce the budget deficit. Expansion of Medicaid, a core component of the ACA, was also funded through these measures.
Show us the taxes created by the ACA massacre. I don’t recall that at all. At the time I was on a group plan from work. The lived experience at the time was the removal of the indemnity policy and the increased out of pocket cost demanded by the insurance company.
Taxes increased on obamas full term, but not on high income. I have never been high income and taxes increased every year under Obama. Some years it felt exorbitant as they tinkered with decreasing the withholding to increase take home pay. Which for Obama voters was extreme pain when they discovered they didn’t get a refund.

Third of all, you seem to be pro-needless government regulation when it comes to regulating poor people.

Literally the Democrat MO....regulating just to regulate, especially against the working class who you hate.

Yeah… who needs clean water, child working restrictions, work place safety…,

That’s not the warrior ethos!

You tell them!

Nobody, that's why we don't have any of those things. LOL

What would you know about the wrriror ethos?? Are you a POG too?? :D

Some food for thought.

A recent newscaster mentioned that, with the projected Republican health care cuts, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson's home state of Louisiana will be severely affected. Currently, a Louisiana family's health care cost is $541. The Biggly Beautiful Bill's medical care cuts will raise those premiums to $2,180 per month.

To all the other states affected, how do you expect people to come up with an extra $1,639 per month? That's a 25% increase in health care costs while food prices are rising and tariffs on essential goods are increasing in a very low-income state like Louisiana. How about the ratios and insurance costs in other states? I'm sure that will impact every state to some similar degree.

Are MAGA members here, Republicans supposedly, okay with hurting millions of struggling fellow Americans?

Meanwhile, Trump is building a big, beautiful ballroom, trampling on state and city governments for revenge against blue states as if that is something a President should do, and complaining that his demand for a Nobel Peace Prize wasn't granted. Why not just write an Executive Order awarding himself a Presidential Peace Prize instead? Since, as someone here said, the Nobel Prize is worthless and overly political.

I have to pay for my own shit, why should they get a free ride on my back??

They need to get fuckin' jobs and stop being so bad with their fuckin' money.

Who's getting that free ride?

My example was about real people in Louisiana, not free riders. Some twenty million nationwide are in the same dire predicament. Working people with jobs that are not keeping up with inflation and certainly not able to adjust to 25% increased medical health care costs. It's real people plundered by Trump's big beautiful bill, more like robbed by the BBB. They are not riding your back by any means. They have fuckin' jobs. Most are existing day to day on those jobs and not on the public dole. They are a razor's edge from going under, and Trump's policies under that BBB are holding their heads underwater.

Sadly, you don't get a fuck. That's fine. If you find along the way that those individuals decide to vote differently next time, you may find they have enough to make those changes to survive, possibly carving a few dollars out of the wealthy to make up for it. If that's you, you'll be able to walk faster — lighter, thanks to a slimmer wallet.

They were on a livable health plan, but soon they will no longer have an affordable healthcare plan because the BBB cuts off coverage for some 20 million of them to save funds. Funds that Republicans have dedicated elsewhere.

What hurts most of all to add pain to the injury is that the top wealthiest people are getting significant tax cuts that Trump says are needed. Those top people can afford their insurance increases; they're rich enough to shrug that off as peanut money.

Everyone suckling up them tax dollars.

How are you fuckinig retards not understanding that when you take my money I get more POOR??? FUCK YOU get a god damn job.
The proposed Republican BBBill is not balanced. It adds to the deficit. They know that. They also wrote it so that the upper rich pay less in taxes. So they are 'taking your money' if you are not rich.

The Democrats' proposal was also not balanced and consequently would have added to the deficit. Their proposals would have more taxes for the wealthy, so that those in lower brackets could have had healthcare and lower taxes. So they would have been 'giving you money' if you were not rich.

I had a job. I'm retired. I planned well. So, I am not sucking up those tax dollars. :devilish:

FYI: The unfortunate truth is that many Americans have little or no net worth, even though most are working steady jobs at 40 hours or more per week. While the average American has a net worth of $1,063,700, according to the Federal Reserve, this figure is skewed by the extreme wealth of the top earners. For the bottom 50% of the country's population, the average net worth drops to just $23,588.

That's not even a good sign that America's economy is doing well by any economic standard, is it?

You can argue with these nutbags till you're blue in the face. Their altruistic delusions doesn't allow them to deal with reality, 38 trillion in debt. Nowhere in the constitution has the government been granted authority to take from Peter to pay Paul. The general welfare of our citizens doesn't give the government the authority to provide for the welfare of illegals migrants, even migrants in general.

Unfortunately our government has created a dependent society bankrupting our country.

Welfare Mooch seems quite angry this morning.

It's not "sucking up them tax dollars" when he gets that sweet sweet gummint check each month.

That's....That's....THAT'S DIFFERENT.

Sure.

They also wrote it so that the upper rich pay less in taxes.

Good, equality and all....the lower 50% need to start comming up off 40 cents of EVERY dollar.

So they are 'taking your money' if you are not rich.

This is the most insane commie dumbfuckery I've ever seen posted here. Nobody is taking my money by letting others keep theirs. NOT stealing other peoples shit isn't stealing from me.

LOL what totally fucking insane thing to say.

I had a job. I'm retired. I planned well. So, I am not sucking up those tax dollars. :devilish:

Oh but others didn't so we're going to tax you out of that retirement because the collective needs it!! You don't have any problem with the beloved gubbmint just comming in and taking that from you right??

FYI: The unfortunate truth is that many Americans have little or no net worth, even though most are working steady jobs at 40 hours or more per week.

FYI: The unfortunate truth is also that many Americans are absolute DOG SHIT with their finances and despite making plenty of money to live and stack money they CHOOSE to instead live beyond their means in absurd amounts of debt for dumb shit they don't even want most the time. That needs to be ON THEM, not everyone else.

That's not even a good sign that America's economy is doing well by any economic standard, is it?

Maybe the left should take their bootheels of the throats of Americans then......let them earn the living they want.....whatever that is. Economic freedom, capitalism, you probably call it evil fascism. Mostly because it REQUIRES people suffer the consiquences of their own poor economic choices in life.

You said, "How are you fuckinig (sic) retards not understanding that when you take my money I get more POOR???"

So, then it wasn't stolen from you? How's that, given you think others are getting help in some way, isn't costing you money, not stealing your money that everyone also contributed to make those payments to them?
LOL what totally fucking insane thing to say.

My retirement is from investments, rental incomes, and a small amount of Social Security. I have no control over SS, but I do over the investments and rentals. To date, the 'gubbmint' hasn't taken anyone's social security.

Now, Trump has proposed to do that. Under Trump's plan, the rule says, nearly 400,000 SSI beneficiaries living with family or friends experiencing their own financial struggles likely would have their benefits cut — typically by hundreds of dollars per month — or lose eligibility altogether.[2] And yet the average annual savings from these benefit cuts would barely pay for a single day of the massive tax cuts for the wealthy that are part of the Republican megabill enacted in July.[3] At the same time, the rule would make it harder for eligible people to get and keep SSI, creating new red tape for beneficiaries and more work for the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) already depleted and overburdened staff.

Yes it is. No argument from me on this. Many live well beyond their means. Everyone could use a good high school economics course on budgeting. It was taught in my high school days. Pretty sure it isn't today.

Okay, but you'll at least drop a quarter into the blind man's cup as he sits outside of Walmart's automatic opening doors, amirite? :rose:

Let's untangle this proposal and check the pros and cons. Below is an overview. I'd appreciate your help in other aspects. Thank you in advance.

✅ Positive Tax Changes (Supporters' Perspective)

  1. Extension of 2017 Tax Cuts
The bill extends the provisions of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which are set to expire at the end of 2025. This extension is intended to maintain lower tax rates for individuals and corporations.
  2. Increased SALT Deduction Cap
The state and local tax (SALT) deduction cap is raised from $10,000 to $40,000, potentially benefiting taxpayers in high-tax states.
  3. Defense Spending Boost
An additional $150 billion is allocated for defense spending, which supporters argue strengthens national security.

❌ Negative Tax Changes (Critics' Perspective)

  1. Potential Increase in National Debt
The bill is estimated to add several trillion dollars to the national debt over the next decade, raising concerns about fiscal sustainability.
  2. Reduction in Social Program Funding
Significant cuts are proposed for programs like Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which could affect low-income individuals.
  3. Scaling Back Clean Energy Incentives
The bill reduces many clean-energy tax credits established under the Inflation Reduction Act, potentially impacting renewable energy initiatives.
  4. Loss of Health Insurance Coverage
It's projected that nearly 14 million Americans could lose health insurance coverage due to the proposed changes.
we need more tax cuts for those with income > $350k and to 86 more of ACA. Clinton rode the dot com bubble and we must get back to growing the economy and fix all of the inept Joe Biden woke bullshit

I believe most people would accept tax increases if it went to pay down debt and balance the budget. It never happens that way, the more tax the more spending.

ACA? You had to vote for it before knowing what's in it. Now!!! Dems want another 1.3 trillion TO PROP A TOTAL FAILURE!, just trust them. LOL

I went to a Christian private high school. I’m almost 30. It was not taught to me.

So, then it wasn't stolen from you? How's that, given you think others are getting help in some way, isn't costing you money, not stealing your money that everyone also contributed to make those payments to them?

It is. It does cost me money. Cost me a shit load of money.

What the fuck are you talking about??

And you have no problem with the government just taking all that shit from you to give to some Muhommed who showed up and is assaulting the women in YOUR family right??

You better or you're a racist FASCIST MAGA NAZI!!!! :D you better go thank that paki rape gang for servicing your daughters and grand daughters.... if you don't that a white supremacy hate crime!!

If it's such a small ammount of money YOU and YOURS can grab your thighs and come up with it then. Plenty of globocommie billionaires on your side being STINGY AS FUCK could easily cover it. But nooo ya'll want to weaponize the GOVERNMETN against EVERYONE who's not a rainbow commie.

Yes it is. No argument from me on this. Many live well beyond their means. Everyone could use a good high school economics course on budgeting. It was taught in my high school days. Pretty sure it isn't today.

Nope, that's too FAR REICH WING..... we need drag queens to show up and teach everyone how to use GRINDER, that's the public education systems top priority. You better cheer that too our the real crazies will come after you.
Okay, but you'll at least drop a quarter into the blind man's cup as he sits outside of Walmart's automatic opening doors, amirite? :rose:

Holy deflection batman...... I love how OBSESSED lefties are about what other people are doing with their money.

If you guys worried 1/1000th as much about your own money instead of womring your way into everyone else's ya'll wouldn't be so fuckin' poor all the time.
