I've been putting a new story together for a little while, after an even longer time sketching out the world-building and plotting for multiple entries in a series.

I don't want to abuse an editors goodwill, so I'm really just looking for feedback on the first four chapters, just over 20k words. The fourth chapter is when the first sex scene happens. Really what I want to know is whether I've got the right balance of plot to erotica, and whether the pacing is right. I'm worried the buildup might be too slow, but the story is pretty psychological with cheating and themes of dubcon and corruption.

The story isn't published, so if you're interested in taking a look I can DM you a Google drive link to it. I'm still pretty new here, so if there's another way to share I can do that too.

I have a similar slow burn cheating wife novel in my signature.

From my experience here I've found most readers prefer fantasy elements, quickly appearing sex, a heavy sex-to-notsex ratio, and short spans between sex. I write for the reader who gets off mentally, who wants context, emotions, history, potentials, and meanings baked into the sex, with build up, a world, and lived-in qualities that allow the reader to disappear or submerge themselves into the characters. They're here though, and if they're not then we must build it so they can come.

Please send me your work and I'd like to read it.
