Endless Ends

It goes with my renowned mental dexterity. 😎

Not really. Based on the floopiness of my day so far I have no mental dexterity! 🤣

A friend casually mentioned they think I'm musically anhedonic.

First, I had to look that up. 🤣

Second, I disagree. I like music. I listen to it in the car sometimes. When I'm alone. It's true I don't listen when with others. It's too . . . overstimulating. Admittedly my range is limited. When I do listen, it's mostly to dance music. Something suitable for dancing or running.

Anyhoo, my intention is to try to stretch that limit.

Favorite songs or bands or types of music?

"After the first death, there is no other."
~Dylan Thomas

Not taken in the most literal context, this is perfectly true.

My streaming service must be emptying out its vaults.

I am being treated to the most ghastly horror movies that rarely see the light of day. I know this because I'm seeing things that I (who have seen pretty much all the vintage horror) am seeing stuff I've never seen.

It's a smidge traumatizing. 🤣

Ngaio Marsh adaptions I'd like to see made.

Singing in the Shrouds
Tied up in Tinsel
Clutch of Constables

Thee are others, but those are my top three.

Why?

-Why is it so hard to get chocolate stains out of clothes?
-Why is it so hard to get chocolate stains off white?
-Why do I eat chocolate while wearing white jeans?

🤔 🤔 🤔

Wait just a minute . . . if the spirit of the dead Ligeia inhabits the cat's body, are you implying that Fell had sex with a cat ??? . . . I'm not sure Mr. E.A. Poe went that far.

No, no!

That would be bestiality. Sex with a cat, I mean.

As the movie concludes the local gentry find the Ligeia's perfectly preserved body laid out on a bed in a hidden room. Apparently necrophilia was meant to be implied. Something I never caught. Possibly not surprising as I so rarely do catch sexual innuendo. 🙄

It's under Script and Casting on the Wiki page.

Apparently the screenplay writer thought Vincent Price look like a necrophiliac. And more. Yikes. 😳

Other adaptions I would welcome.

Pratchet's Witches.

Particularly Maskerade. Witches Abroad and Lords and Ladies would not come amiss.

I have decided to purchase new linens.

(Which probably means six months or so. I like to think about things properly before making decision. :p)

Anyhoo, turns out linens are fascinating.

How much would you, should you, could you, pay for bedding?

Would you purchase these? Matouk

What about these? D. Porthault

Or does one run down to the nearest Walmart and spend ten dollars like someone I know. 😝

Also, shouldn't $3,500 sheets be more attractive? 🤔

Oh, my bad . . . just a misunderstanding on my part. :( On the other hand , I've never been a fan of the term "sexual innuendo" . . . if you break it up into pieces, do you get a different meaning ?: "inn-u-end-o" ! If that's the meaning, then we need it's companion "innufronto:" . . . just sayin'.
