Anyone who really knows the industry would laugh at your ignorance. If we didn't get H-1B resumes we would have open positions go unfilled. It has tightened up a little in the past couple of years but in general H-1Bs are here because the tech industry needs them. And they boost the local economy because they love new cars and living the American dream.
I think they want the forums to go away. They may shut them down at any time. The forums are not the money maker here.
