One reason: It is easier for a man to keep himself clean, (and therefore ready to receive), than a woman. And an unpleasant oral experience with a woman can make a man reluctant to try again.

Another reason (and perhaps the more common): Some men are concerned more with their own sexual pleasure, and have less concern for their lady.
