Whiskey..So say I happen to find myself in Scotland; what is the proper tea to request?
I’m so glad you are enjoying them! I will endeavor to supply more… Though I will be away for a couple of weeks, so people may go into withdrawals before I return!Hello thank you I'll go for some coffee and the Dad Jokes are funny...
There will be plenty of that too!Whiskey..
I rather suspect it will be as difficult to find bad Scotch in Scotland as it was to find bad food in Italy!Whiskey..
I always get confused between Scotch and Whiskey and Rye and the differences..I rather suspect it will be as difficult to find bad Scotch in Scotland as it was to find bad food in Italy!
I don’t blame you one bit! There is a ton of different styles! Rye is made with at least 51% rye grain. Whiskey in general can be made with a mash of multiple grain types. Scotch is a whiskey made in Scotland under the Scottish rules. Bourbon has to be made in the US with at least 51% corn.I always get confused between Scotch and Whiskey and Rye and the differences..
Wow thank you for educating me. I avoid all of them because Im allergic to the grain Rye.I don’t blame you one bit! There is a ton of different styles! Rye is made with at least 51% rye grain. Good choice! There is no regulation saying that rye cannot be included.Wow thank you for educating me. I avoid all of them because Im allergic to the grain Rye.
Depends on what you like. Scotland is known for their peat in Scotch which is decayed organic matter pulled from certain water sources and used to dry barley. I personally do not like it in most cases. Has almost band-aid flavor but that is just me. You can find non-peated Scotch. Usually called Speyside. Cleaner to me. I guess try both and see what you prefer.I rather suspect it will be as difficult to find bad Scotch in Scotland as it was to find bad food in Italy!
Speyside is too sweet for me. Peaty Islay whisky is where it’s at.Depends on what you like.
