The groundhog that ate my sweet potato vines could smell gun oil from 50 yards.... step outside with my shotgun and I'd just see his fukkin tail rounding the corner, behind the barn.... step out without it, he'd stand up, laughing and flip me the bird.
We had a Caddyshack kind of relationship.

I recall people would eat them I know my dad had one in the freezer but I don't reall eating it.

I used the Have A Heart traps and they worked pretty good. They can create a mess.

Yeah - I have a bunch of them. They work really well.

I drink about 2 root beers a hitch, while on the boat, but I've been told "You are the MF'n YODA of Kool-aid!"
I never outgrew it, plus, it's cane sugar instead of HFCS.
I put it in the freezer until it forms perfect "snow" in the jug.

I agree about HFCS. I blame Hurricane Hugo.

I guess not that different from Brunswick stew (squirrel).

We had a neighbor in the town I grew up in who would make snapping turtle soup! I was too chicken to try it.
