How to keep your penis from itching after gym and swimming?

Recently took up swimming as compliment to gym and I've noticed that all water, showering and soap really make my head and foreskin somewhat irritated (I'm uncut). Trying to limit amount of soap but still getting some itching.
There are so many different things for ladies' "down there issues" but hard to find for men. So far I've only tried rubbing baby oil over my parts after showering and it works OK.
Any other ideas?

People with vulvas are told to use a cortisone cream for vulvar itchiness. I have no idea about penises, though. Good luck.
Yeah, found multiple creams and ointments, maybe give one a try... If they are tested for female sensitive parts, they should be OK for male, shouldn't they....?

You're experiencing this under the foreskin, right? May need to pull the skin back to expose the glans, and remove the white, cheese like deposit from there. The crease where the glans joins the shaft needs extra attention. Washing the deposit away by rubbing gently under plain water stream works fine.
Personal experience: I used to do this once a year or so. But have found that once a week is better as routine maintenance.

Has this got anything to do with swimming and working out?

Umm, maybe for one-off use, but I don't think using cortisone "there" often is a good idea.

I think that oneoffAkind doesn't find much information about this because it is, in fact, not very typical in men. He must have some type of sensitive skin or dermatitis. Although it can be a bit embarrassing, he should talk to a specialist instead of self-medicating.

Obviously, I'm not a doctor and going to a doctor would be ideal. Where I live (in the USA), going to a specialist costs at least 350 dollars. I do not have that kind of money. Therefore, if I were having minor, temporary genital itchiness, I would use cortisone cream.
