I usually just reply politely that I don't chat about my personal life and leave it at that. 99% of LIT users are not persistent or obnoxious and drop it. The 1% get blocked. I really don't see anything offensive about it - it's a nice polite message from Dan. There's no need to make it public the way you have - I find that rather more offensive than his message, to be honest. All that's needed is a an equally polite reply saying "not interested."

As much as I disagree with the other right wingers and as much as I've been more than willing to get in the gutter with them, at least they actually post claims to back up their opinions.
